I got a 1983 C10 I have a 3inch exhaust straight pipe and dumped in front of rear end and I have 2 flow masters "44" stock 305 currently building a 5.3 LS sounds deep and old school. if u want a loud truck go with '40' flow masters. if u want a mellow sound go with borla or megaflows. stainless is more expensive just FYI
Rafael Sanchez thanks for the feedback. The “44” I heard on my buddy’s 5.3 sounded awesome. I’m now trying to decide how rowdy I want it to sound or if I want to make it mellow. Leaning more towards rowdy. Haha!!
Nearly every Squarebody I have owned I do a 2 into 1 system dumped before the axle. Flowmaster 40 but om also looking at the Flowmaster super 10 I think it's called. Next one I want louder.
WarBeardTheRed my original thought was to dual it and add an h-pipe with 2.5”. The more I am thinking about it I think I’m going to go the 2-1 but with 3”. I’m still looking at mufflers at this point. My buddy has a 52 Chevy with a 5.3 and super 44 and I really liked the way it sounded.
