If I were Coach Sides and they offered me the LA Sparks Job I would take it in a New York Minute. For all the HATE she gets from CC fans, that would literally be a DREAM Job. Plus great odds that Paige Bueckers goes there via the Lottery. Coach Sides will do Masterclass work with a healthy Brink, Jackson, and Paige Bueckers. I would trade Dearica Hamby along with all the other starting Guards for more draft picks. If the Sparks could get additional First Round Picks in the 2025 draft, Sides could build a Monster Baller Squad. Go get Sides.

Sparks should get Lisa Leslie to coach. She can't do worse than the coaches they've had. Phoenix coach should definitely get more scrutiny bc did he even have coaching experience at this level before they made him the highest paid coach? Becky had nba experience and won 2 championships. Spoon had nba experience, too.

She finished with a better record in her first year. Even though the organization was in major transition, the team had major injuries and a mid-season trade.
With respect to Nate... I an evaluating from an NBA perspective, but basketball is basketball - I don't know anything about his in game strategy, but right off the back, the issue the Mercury has is thst the team is OLD. They cannot run.
Add to that the fact that Kaheah Copper is a "volume scorer" and the team is full of hot heads.... Copper, Grineŕ, Taurasi, Sophie Cunningham.... it is no wonder they have so many techs this season.

Watching the ganes I didn't think he utilized his players effectively... With the new talent they have and will get next season need a good coach so he had to go..... Spoon still not sold on her sorry. She made the same mistakes the entire season didn't grow. I think she should go but I guess we have her again another season and hopefully she watched the films she claimed to have watched and find her mistakes.
