watching this is making me really miss our old car. we used to have one of these, till about 2015. 2008 / 58 plate. exact same spec without the electric mirrors i think. its a great spacious car no doubt and is quite happy to overtake. great on fuel aswell. really torquey lol. we traded ours in for a crappy 1.2 Peugeot 2008. also if anyone watches this thinking of getting a peugeot 2008 with a 1.2 puretech engine, don’t get a prefacelift one, because the newers one have a turbo to help them as the prefacelift one have literally no grunt to them at all.

the blue mars 5ft 11, i have always driven like that, and it also helps to keep my head out of the cameras way

Hi Barrie. Ive been offered a 2012 Peugeot 308 e hdi 1.6 allure that has done 109,000 miles but has a new cambelt. What do you think? Is it a punt worth taking? Thanks and nice video :)

@@BarrieCrampton Most other reviews are just Dealers doing a walk around, this revue and others you have done really allow the view to get a feel of what the car is like to drive under normal condition not jus a walk around or a autobahn type, not every car has the luxury of being featured on Top Gear - its surprising just how few decent reviews there is for some cars. The multi angles you use also makes a difference. Thanks again Barrie cheers from downunder.

If your arms are at full stretch to reach the wheel than you need to bring the back of your seat up a couple of inches.

Auslara33 thanks for watching, if it is as you say why would Formula 1 drivers drive with their legs and arms straight out? If you are in a collision the way i drive you have space to pull your legs and arms away and increase the distance from the steering wheel and pedals reducing severe injuries, if you bend your arms and legs then you get ankle, knee, hip, finger, wrist, elbow, shoulder, neck, face and chest injuries th-cam.com/video/anG2atZ7EHA/w-d-xo.html i will stay where i am thanks 🤔

The 1.6L Peugeot 308 are a bag of shit the 2011 versions of the engine are unbelievable though but the 16 valve engine in the 2009 car is brutal the same engine is in mazda, Ford focus etc... If your buying a Peugeot buy an 2011 version and make sure it is the new gen engine not the old gen engine
