- Full sophomore season highlights for #lsu defensive superstar Harold Perkins Jr. Some people consider Perkins to be the best defensive player in all of #cfb. After finishing his freshman season with 72 tackles and 7.5 sacks, he finished 2023 with 74 tackles and 5.5 sacks. Perkins pass rush production could be much higher, but he’s played in a slot/linebacker hybrid role that limits his pass rush opportunities. Love his mix of speed and power off the edge. Really seems to have an eye for where the football is. Speaks to his ability to process the field and overall football IQ. This is the type of player I want on my team.

@@joshappens I think his career pass rush grade in the NFL is 85+ and his pass rush win rate is over 30%. I have watched every snap he’s taken for the ravens and there is not a single player on that team that has a better pass rush bag than Kyle Hamilton. You said Perkins is an edge who covers like a db, Hamilton is a db who rushes like an edge.
