His voice was amazing as a high schooler when he sang that and I think understandably he's lost it as he's moved to other pursuits, but I'm sure that Alan and Lea (who still are excellent musicians) wouldn't want to sing with anything else. They all made history together and created some of my favorite childhood memories.

Not a single comment about Alan Menken? He composed this, the majority of your childhood favourites and turns up himself to accompany the singers. His playing was the perfect accompaniment, it was subtle and took no attention away from the singers. He sat back and let them shine.

I've heard A Whole New World covers and they're very good, but no one strikes a reaction in me like Lea Salonga. She remains the one and only singing voice for jasmine. Love her, and I also got to see her live with El Divo. I was never so happy to win tickets to a concert. It was wonderful.
