I'm Thai, but I never bargained. Especially in this covid situation, I think the price of the product is not expensive. At present, we do not take advantage of tourists anymore. There may be some people who sell like that. but much less Thai people want tourism to come back, so they want tourists to have a better experience.

I'm going to Bangkok in November, hopefully get to Chatuchak weekend market.
When you said you're the type of girl that needs to know where the toilets are, well same here. I've got IBS which means that I can be fine one minute but the next I know I need to go soon (though recently I think it's going to the shops with my mum that triggers it 😂). So is it easy to find a bathroom/toilet at most places?
Will need to remember the tape measure, have seen some people put a skirt or trouser waistband round their neck to see if it'll fit them - I don't get that method
Hi Charlotte! I'm glad me sharing about the bathrooms was helpful 😄 I was afraid that would be too strange for people to see but knowing where a bathroom is at all times is also very important to me. I totally understand where you're coming from! And yes thankfully bathrooms are easy to find!

Sad news... I didn't buy ANYTHING from my fav stall that day 😭 It was actually a hard day on me physically so all I had the energy for was filming and not for full on thrift shopping 😕hope to return and get a haul next time!

Yes, a healthy food vid if possible please. :) Wondering about organics, specifically. Industrial farming doesn't seem to be common in Thailand, certainly not like in the U.S., so does that mean the farming is done organically, even by maybe the larger producers who supply grocery stores and restaurants? Street venders likely grow their own produce (a guess), so thinking they wouldn't use costly pesticides. Wondering. Thanks!
Hi Aaron! I'm answering your question about the bartering tip but not sure where it went. No worries on asking - it's a great question and insight. Like I said in the video - I am only speaking from personal experience and advice from my Thai family and friends. But if you aren't comfortable with bartering, definitely don't and just pay the full price! In my personal experience, I have had quite a few people take advantage of the fact that I don't "look" Thai and therefore they think they can overcharge me by A LOT. You can FEEL the difference between a seller who is just down right a bad person and an actual good person just trying to make their daily earnings. So in this situation you just have to use decrement and judge for yourself. I said this tip so that everyone can just be a bit more careful because there are bad people who try to trick and wayyy overcharge, and not only to foreigners but also to Thais as well. Thanks for asking and for being sensitive!
Okay great! I would love to talk more about healthy foods here in Bangkok! I have a dairy/gluten free + low sugar lifestyle for reference. I'm not too familiar with the organic culture here in Thailand but if I see anything I will try to add it in a food video! Thanks Aaron - glad to have you!

I was only seeing it from the more honest seller, but yes of course, there will be people who try to over-charge too. I only wish I knew how to speak Thai (working on it) like you so that I could know which is which. :) But yes, a "feel" for how someone is acting and whether they seem shady or not always helps. Sorry if I wasted your time in responding .. didn't intend for that .. but I deleted the original comment after you gave me a "like" since I then knew you had seen it and wasn't sure if it sounded a little too judgmental or something.
