Love these kinds of week long vlogs. I was vegan for five years until a month ago and would love to see all the vegan restaurants around Thailand. I had so many saved on my ig 😅 and those heat up meals from 7 are the best, especially when you’re travelling around Thailand. I miss them 🥲

Hi Cavina😊 I think your perspective on thrifting in Thailand is really interesting. Have you thought of collaborating with other SE Asian TH-camrs? Thrifting in the Philippines is huge, and Filipinos are big consumers of social media. And English is readily spoken by Filipinos.

Thank you for sharing places you go for vegan food in Thailand. I would be totally lost where to find them all. Are the prices the same as normal foods there or more pricier? Are there larger restaurants in Thailand that do a lot of vegan or it’s not popular yet?
Absolutely! My dad and brother are vegans and so they've told me about a couple of places they like to visit when they come to Thailand 😊 The prices are for sure higher than normal Thai food - that's just because vegan ingredients are overall more expensive here. For example: the to-go mushroom dish I got was about 90baht compared to a regular chicken dish which is around 40-50 baht. And yes larger restaurants in Thailand are providing more opens for vegans! It's exciting to see 😍

@@Cavinachannel so why would you, film a vlog about vegan eatery in Bangkok, is that misleading the audience? Wouldn’t it be better to be more imaginative and creative, to go vegan for the day or even the week and show the fantastic vegan plant-based eateries within Bangkok they are so many now, even street food. Thailand a fantastic places to be plant-based and in general. If you went vegan plant-based it would have helped your gut health eating greens, ( they are some great greens in power on the market now like Athletic greens Rheal superfoods), plant-based yoghurt, kimchi, all have been found to aid with better gut health. It's better than drinking baby cow milk. open you mind don't just go for 👍
@@itsjazzyjamtime4198 appreciate your insight! This was never supposed to be a “vegan vlog” but a realistic vlog of what I enjoy eating - which isn’t a fully vegan diet but I don’t eat much meat. My gut has been very happy with being dairy and gluten free for 7 years, but I’m not 100% ready to go fully vegan. My dad and brother have been vegan for 6 years and they love it! So I can definitely see the benefits 😊 thanks for watching

I'll watch it too, but your tone could easily add to the poor stereotypes of vegans. It's not her job to appease one group. Your view was free. You think she ate some egg for views? You tell her not to make videos for likes, but want her to cater to your specifics needs. That's really going over your head huh? Your and others need for all or nothing slows veganisms spread. Would you rather she have skipped the Vegan place all together if not a video with all food following suit? For some it takes steps. And better some vegan food in someone's diet than zero. That's true even if they never fully become vegan.
@@Cavinachannel I missed the part where you claimed you or the first meal were vegan. Because you didn't. Strange way to encourage like behavior. To attack and claim you did it all just for views. Like non vegan BKK street food videos don't get higher view counts. I guess you must eat strictly vegan on your channel for it to be featured in a vlog. Encouraging people to try it is not enough. You must apparently only preach to the choir. Imagine how little press the diet would get if only purely vegan specific publications could speak on it.

Yes, agreed. Trust me… people here don’t make it easy either 😪 I’ll tell older market ladies “no bag please” and 99% of the time they respond with “this is too hot (or cold) you need a bag!” and gives me no way out haha it’s a big problem here for sure
