In the second episode I believe she was trying to see if geo would be a good bodyguard as the bullets did not " harm geo " more stun him. As I think Gwain told luna about Geo (maybe how she knows he's human) and Gwain want's to be sure Geo will be a " Good bodyguard " .
I really want to say: This is by far my most favorite episode of Gwain Saga. Not only is it a luxurious 25 minutes of entertainment, but I loved the pacing and the side stories and how it led up to the climax. I loved the ending, and it really showed the dynamic of Ami, Geo, and Savien. Just from that last scene, you can see how Savien grew as a person, how much Ami truly loved Geo despite only being there to protect her, and his gratitude for Savien. The framing and timing was super suspenseful and emotion-packed. I love Gwain Saga so much, and this episode definitely shows why!

This was extremely touching. If this episode wasnt about Saiven, then it was about the bond/relationship between Ami and Geo. Those two are so adorable with one another. Saiven is an interesting character and I cannot wait to learn more about him. That ending has so many possibilities, and its only going to be revealed in the next episode. @@XxXXxX-zu3tk It results to a broken arm, imagine, you're in that world and your arm gets run over by a train. Yes, Geo can resist such things since humans are super beings there. But there are limits. Geo can carry a boulder, but not an entire mountain for example. Due to how heavy a train is depending on the materials, lay out and design. It could've killed him.
Pelo's design was actually really refreshing compared to all the other characters. It would be really cool to have him be like the cabbage man of Gwain Saga (avatar).
I always love coming back to rewatch the series so far because Geo’s absolutely wonderful at building up suspense and relief. You can’t see it in any reaction videos to this episode, because everyone is so confused as to what happened, but the first time I watched Geo walk off the train, get run over by the entire thing, and then break his arm and hold the train back WITH said broken arm, I very audibly gasped. And even though it’s been around 2 years since the first time I watched it, I feel the same rush flow through me every time I come back.
This was *amazing.* 25 whole minutes of animation, holy crap, it's as long as some official shows out there, even longer. While I do feel that there were some problems in terms of pacing(especially in the first half), the action scenes and the train scene were top-notch. Great job on those. Overall, this was great! Well-done as always! I love where the story is going! Can't wait to see what the next chapter will have in store!
The Sr.Pelo part at 17:27 is absolutely masterful. The pure amount of confidence in his initial glance is unparalleled, enjoying his work, knowing that's what he's spent his whole life specializing in as well as it being the only thing keeping the behemoth of a vehicle running. Then, he sees someone who's probably wandered off course and accidentally entered into the engine room, but Sr.Pelo is obviously someone who's very proud in his work, so he turns and faces this intruder, probably hoping to see awe and excitement in them. Thought, he's only met with a firearm pointed directly at him, initially in shock he pleads for his life, but then realizes that the intruder only has interest in the locomotive itself, only amplifying his already immense fear. This locomotive is his life, and he's about to lose it? How could he ever allow for that to happen? He would not, he refused to run, if he would die, it would be here, defending his life's work. It's a blur what happened next, but soon he finds himself attached to a railroad sign and see the train speeding away from him, his whole life's work, probably gone to never be seen again, all that is left to do is cry, as there's nothing he can do. And all this, conveyed in only 22 second.

After rewatching the whole series before watching this one, I think I know what Bread Girl had done that shocked Geo. As many know, what Geo is capable of carrying exceeds that any Terran can carry. Now assuming that what’s left over of what he uses should be extremely heavy like that jacket in episode 002, Geo should be shocked at how Bread Girl can throw the trash bags quite effortlessly for someone that seems to be ‘powerless’. Please understand that this is just a personal theory, it honestly could mean anything.
So that means that Lanney (the Bread Girl) maybe is a human, but she dyed her hair to look like a Theoran and fool Gwain, because if she knows that Lanney is a human, she could be killed by Gwain. Geo is an exception because he's the bodyguard of Ami, but Lanney might die if Gwain or someone knows that. That's because she decided to act like a Theoran that don't know their specifical element rather than a human lost in another universe.

But then Lanney would have the same eyes as geo, which would mean there must be teorian contact lenses so there could be other humans hiding Edit: in episode 4 (Marlow's episode) Geo and Lanney get their hair cut. The scissors break when cutting Geo's hair but don't break when cutting Lanney's (they are the same type of scissors) so Lanney can't be a human.

I always love coming back to rewatch the series so far because Geo’s absolutely wonderful at building up suspense and relief. You can’t see it in any reaction videos to this episode, because everyone is so confused as to what happened, but the first time I watched Geo walk off the train, get run over by the entire thing, and then break his arm and hold the train back WITH said broken arm, I very audibly gasped. And even though it’s been around 2 years since the first time I watched it, I feel the same rush flow through me every time I come back.

This was *amazing.* 25 whole minutes of animation, holy crap, it's as long as some official shows out there, even longer.
While I do feel that there were some problems in terms of pacing(especially in the first half), the action scenes and the train scene were top-notch. Great job on those.
Overall, this was great! Well-done as always! I love where the story is going! Can't wait to see what the next chapter will have in store!

The Sr.Pelo part at 17:27 is absolutely masterful.
The pure amount of confidence in his initial glance is unparalleled, enjoying his work, knowing that's what he's spent his whole life specializing in as well as it being the only thing keeping the behemoth of a vehicle running.
Then, he sees someone who's probably wandered off course and accidentally entered into the engine room, but Sr.Pelo is obviously someone who's very proud in his work, so he turns and faces this intruder, probably hoping to see awe and excitement in them.
Thought, he's only met with a firearm pointed directly at him, initially in shock he pleads for his life, but then realizes that the intruder only has interest in the locomotive itself, only amplifying his already immense fear.
This locomotive is his life, and he's about to lose it? How could he ever allow for that to happen?
He would not, he refused to run, if he would die, it would be here, defending his life's work.
It's a blur what happened next, but soon he finds himself attached to a railroad sign and see the train speeding away from him, his whole life's work, probably gone to never be seen again, all that is left to do is cry, as there's nothing he can do.
And all this, conveyed in only 22 second.

After rewatching the whole series before watching this one, I think I know what Bread Girl had done that shocked Geo. As many know, what Geo is capable of carrying exceeds that any Terran can carry. Now assuming that what’s left over of what he uses should be extremely heavy like that jacket in episode 002, Geo should be shocked at how Bread Girl can throw the trash bags quite effortlessly for someone that seems to be ‘powerless’. Please understand that this is just a personal theory, it honestly could mean anything.
So that means that Lanney (the Bread Girl) maybe is a human, but she dyed her hair to look like a Theoran and fool Gwain, because if she knows that Lanney is a human, she could be killed by Gwain. Geo is an exception because he's the bodyguard of Ami, but Lanney might die if Gwain or someone knows that. That's because she decided to act like a Theoran that don't know their specifical element rather than a human lost in another universe.
Wow I didn’t think anyone else had quite picked up on that, I totally agree! And you also make a very valid point that cover up of seeming defenseless is strange, I wonder what it could mean.
But then Lanney would have the same eyes as geo, which would mean there must be teorian contact lenses so there could be other humans hiding
Edit: in episode 4 (Marlow's episode) Geo and Lanney get their hair cut. The scissors break when cutting Geo's hair but don't break when cutting Lanney's (they are the same type of scissors) so Lanney can't be a human.
