As a person who has invested hundreds of dollars into this band, I say this: PLEASE support Insomnium and buy their music / merchandise The money you spend will be worth it!! Can't wait for the new album.
Such an under rated band i rly hope peoples can start to SEE who they are. not only that they are from Finland but that they are RDY to kick some serious ass !!
Can't wait for ephemeral. Insomnium's made so much great great melodeath material so far; One for Sorrow, Down With The Sun, Mortal Share, Into The Woods, and much more. And to top it off, Ephemeral sounds like it's set to b another epic album.
i must say i was a little disappointed with one for sorrow, and accross the dark wasn't quite as good as their previous albums. but this... THIS is fucking amazing
+xCr0nus oh dude, Across The Dark is their best album. ATD has the best production along with this EP, the previous albums are a massive wall of sound and the guitar tone is horrible.
Celovath wtf haha Anders Friden have a piercing scream, higher that insomnium's singer's vocals ! But There might be a similitude with some songs of jester race I guess

In each album they are exceeding their limit. They always are melodic, always sad, always make us spiritiual travel

These guys always have the best instrumentals. I'm excited for this...the addition of Vanhala should really bring out the best in them.

Adam the awesome person I wouldn’t even call that song bad at all. It’s not my favourite by any means, but there’s a lot of good melody in that song.
