- Part 2 of the laser rotary. Part one covered how a rotary axis works and part 2 is guide to make your own rotary module for your K40 laser engraver! This is my own design and i wanted to make it a simple build. A rotary attachment is one of the best accessory you will have for your K40!
It opens up a lot of possibilities

Impressive build! Looks very good.
Just what I was looking for, thanks 👍
Nice job! Very cool!
Very nice, thank you
Nice work! Great video
Thank you
Amazing! 😊👏
Thank you :)
hi, thanks for the video.
what motor should I look for? I found out there are a lot of options.
thanks again.
Just found your video and channel. Great job with the design, make and explanation. I will be putting one together in the next few weeks. Finishing up the K40 expansion (bed size and additional height) first.
It is awesome, can you share the Link of the stepper motor that you used, or how can I find it, I started to search on ebay with the same tittle that the one in the video but didn't find it😢
I LOVE TOU
Great video!
Just curious... what 3D software app is that you are showing?
Thank you!
Its a web based 3d designer called tinkercad

Any chance you plan to make and sell these rotary chucks. I wish I had a 3D printer.
no plans really. With the part list plus the labor, it would be too expensive. 3D printers are relatively inexpensive. I would recommend the anycubic i3 mega which i have and you can find it as low as 160 usd in some places.
There are also printing services that will print the files for you, for a fee. I use an Ender 3 Pro with a few tweaks and have yet to find something I can’t print with good quality. But, there’s always something more capable. This machine is limited on its printable filaments but for a hobby, it does what I need. $200 USD
No ICON in the top right!!
Have you attempted to use this with 20oz tumblers?
I have not but it should work.
@@thenotionlab Im struggling just a bit with the hardware list. Difficult to hear that portion with the background music. Do you have the list available by chance?
Also, what program suite are you using with your K40? Whisperer? Inkscape? Thanks again
@@alpha_burt7903 I dont, at 3:09 I show the list on screen.
@@alpha_burt7903 I use inkscape for designing my projects and K40 whisperer to run the machine.
