dasira is so underappreciated imo and the vibes were just too strong w/ this song for me not to make an animatic with it...
ALSO the deal with the guy daisy kills at the beginning, hes like a low level/partially realized hunt avatar or smth

Daisy and Basira's relationship was so complex and incredible. They don't get as much attention as they deserve, but you've shined the spotlight here! Honestly incredible, your character designs and expressions were just *chef's kiss*. Also love the song choice!

Ok, two things fascinate me *deeply* about how Daisy's shape language changes throughout this.
First: just that it goes from all hard angles to distinctly softer ones throughout the animatic, though not entirely linearly so
Second: that she has the most corners when she's _just_ a cop

Daisy is one of my favourite characters in TMA so I’m glad she’s getting a spotlight. She’s the perfect example of a broken character and it’s so compelling and I just *chef’s kiss. Brilliant.
This Daisy...... Impeccable????? And the song.... paired with the LINEWORK, the DESIGN, the FEAR AND ELDRICH POWER that morphs, at the end, to RESIGNATION, then to FEAR AND SOMETHING JUST TO THE LEFT OF REALITY, Hozier was always meant to pair with TMA and you have done it MORE THAN JUSTICE

can i ask, which animation software are you using?
Oh! I didn't really use animation software for this gkfjdkf honestly what I did was kind of convoluted. I drew the individual frames in one big clip studio file then saved it as a psd and imported into fire alpaca so i could save each frame as it's own image (I turned on onion skin so I could save it like an animation). Then I edited all the images together in Sony Vegas 15. So basically the closest thing to animation software I used was fire alpaca but all the art was done in clip studio paint. I... hope this made sense
@@lime-time6586 ah yes that does make sense :) thank you! honestly that sounds like a good way of doing it haha, often animation software isn't the best for making art or it railroads you into having a certain number of fps (at least that's what i've found)
Honestly I wouldn't recommend it lmao. I had to re-export all the images a few times which made the editing folder so cluttered that I had to start from scratch and edit the whole thing over again to actually tell what pictures I was using. Since I made this I bought the ex version of clip which has its own method of exporting layers as separate images so hopefully it will be easier next time
