That locksmith story is wild omg! Worst moving experience - my husband and I (plus our 3 cats and german shepherd) drove from San Diego to North Carolina in less than 4 days. It was a military move so most of our stuff was being moved by the govt. But, we packed our cars compeletely full and drove almost nonstop for 3 ish days- so much caffeine 🫠 haha

Not going to lie I've experienced something similar and I'm a crier .. I cried many times and in situations where I just like throw my hands up and say what the heck.. That's a very very stressful thing to go through. Happy that you guys are doing better.

This is not about moving…but I feel ya about the car. I feel like no matter how far you park, or how much you scoot to the curb. Some idiot always parks right next to you and dings your car. The first week I got my Beamer some a-hole hit my baby too. It hurt to the core.

I’ve only ever had to call a locksmith once to get into my car after locking my keys in the trunk. The entire experience was stressful… I was told he’d be there in 15-20 and he showed up after an hr. Then he quotes me $300 after my friend told me it might be $100 max. I was shaking and started crying bc wtf 😅 Long story short, it took him 25 min or so to get into it and he charged me $80 bc I called him out on the outrageous price and wait time… and he saw me crying/shaking lol

They gave me the code that I created since we got in so late and I was going to grab the keys in the morning
