That's really funny because I just picked up a table like this at a thrift store I got it for $30 a complete steal. I was gonna use it for art supplies and was planning on adding glass on top and mid century legs just like you said.
I'd clean up the drawer fronts with a product called Restore A Finish in walnut. Use it with some steel wool. Will really clean them up and bring the wood back to life! :)
Thank you for organizing your lip products by color! I organize my lip products the same way and yes, you do end up using more of your products. Anyone who says "organizing by brand just works for me" doesn't know what they are missing. Love the set up. If it were me, I would put palettes on top using agate bookends.

You should get those foam mats from the dollarstore (the ones you put in your cubbards so thw dishes dont slide) so the lipsticks and stuff dont go all over the place
As someone who is a HUGE fan of industrial furniture I couldn’t help but cringe hard when u sanded off the grey! It looked so good. Glad it matches your style now but ahhh it was beautiful before too!

I would find a plastic bin (like for organizing inside a drawer of a desk for the setting sprays to protect the wood.
