A family member of mine was the caretaker a while back. We stayed with her during the summer time, few weeks at a time. Love this house. Wish I could visit again. So many fond memories, creepy ones too 😏
Never been to Tilley bend but have been to Chastain House in the daytime got some killer photos one of the front of the house with the doc standing in the window and pic of the side of the house with little girl and a woman
I have been to both. Live just below there. I've never seen anything day or night except a cemetery, a 20th century empty locked church and a lonely house below Zandt's on Dial Rd. I've slept in Sandy Bottoms campsites just 600 yds below Tilley Bend on Old Dial Rd. No witches, no cannibals, no ghosts. Just fishermen and kayak/tubers. The people that own million dollar++ homes just down the hill on the lakefront, where the Tilley Bend church and settlement was before 1920s when the lake was created have apparently never seen anything either. You asked for my experiences. That's them.
I been to both those places many times, my family is from Dial. I was up in the house when the jailer was living there in a camper and the whole house was being kept from twisting by a huge rope to a tree lol😂
My daughter in law went to the church and cemertaty. I don't know if the Stanley's buried there were relatives of my dad, but he was kin to the Stanley's.
Why didn’t you add the picture of the lady hanging from the tree?
Because he’s a god damn liar

Nice photography.
Thanks for sharing! We didn't experience much on our visit either, but don't want to discount those that have!
