How does the apartment rent increase affect your life?
Great video and Congratulations! In my budget we have a cash line item. I would put fun money and Brit’s money in that line item. On the first of every month I would take out the total, $100 and put it somewhere in the house. Britt takes her part and the 60 is there for when you need it. If either one of you doesn’t spend it, it goes back in the container. Every month you take out the hundred dollars and put it in the container. This money is written off every month. Sometimes you’re always looking for a little cash around the house, Boy Scouts come to the door, Girl Scouts, selling cookies, and me and my wife might wanna go get an ice cream or coffee. It takes out all those little expenses that can be a time killer for the budget. When your kids go to school they always come home and they need money for something. Just something to think about.

That's super kind of you! A lot of what we're searching for is very difficult to find on Amazon (organic cotton and free of certain chemicals, etc). Did you guys have a baby shower? You may get like $500 plus in gifts for the things you need from your friends and family. Not like you have to ask for expensive things, but people that love you would surely be happy to contribute. I know I just gave $100 to our friends for their diaper fund for their baby born this week.
We've thought about it but haven't decided one way or another yet. Our families have been ordering things for us anyway though haha

Thank you! The business ventures are half way on hold, maybe 70% on hold. We're not currently seeking any business, but we're still doing a bit of prep work behind the scenes😉
@@MikeandBrit are you 2 working 9 to 5 jobs now? And how do you keep your expenses so low?? In my area 1 person has at least a 3400 a month budget alone! Especially if you are paying for insurance out of your pocket, including longterm care insurance
I'm the only one working currently (Mike here). Brittany thought about going back to work but didn't feel comfortable working for only 4 or 5 months before wanting to take time off to deliver. We live in a low cost of living area which helps. Even with that, we're about as lean as we can be right now, budget wise. We're not saving much money at the end of the month, as all of the excess from my paycheck will be going toward hospital and doctors expenses for the birth of our son. It's not necessarily comfortable but it's what we're doing for the time being.

I Got Debt Free Through Dave Ramsey. I Wanted Financial Freedom Like You Wanted. I Have Dropped 9-5 Jobs Like You In Pursuing My Dream Of My Own Business. I Have Been There, And Back. My First Priority After Debt Free Was Finacial Freedom Its A Huge Temptation. Now I See You Have A Baby Coming Congratulations On That.
