I am in accord with chrisbinghampton, here; the paper quality is undoubted, however, I guess living in the EU, I'm a little more spoilt for choice - in numbers of leaves/notebook. 32, or even 48 pages per book just doesn't cut it - I tend to use 80 page notebooks (minimum), & more for big projects, I don't need to fill another volume. Rhodia, too, is my go to choice. Excellent review, Kerry !! (C'mon Brian, fill those books with more pages - people won't mind the expense).
You bring up a good point about motive/purpose in sizing and "flimsy" covers. I wonder if they are setting these products up to be used in standard traveler's notebooks (Midori, Chic Sparrow, etc)

Nice, though not practical for me to import them from the US. Can't seem to be able to get my hands on a Tomoe River paper here in the EU. PS loved looking at the various ink&pen combos, even picked one or two inks as my future possible acquisitions
+Daniel Novotny Art importing from the US is definitely not a practical thing for me either but Canada doesn't have a strong FP presence and it typically still is less expensive to import. For the EU it definitely wouldn't be worth the import cost I'd imagine. Which inks caught your eye?
That DA Charles Dickens looks really nice. Also MB Oyster Grey, which has been on my list for a long time. I have way too many bottles though, need to finish up a few before getting any more.

I guess I've come late to the party. I just came across one of your TH-cam videos about Goulet Notebooks. As you were thumbing through the pocket notebook, there was an ink that caught my eye. Unfortunately I couldn't read the name. It was a Diamine blue, and was in an Edison Pearl with a double broad nib. I think it was on page four and the name looks to begin with an H. I know this is being an incredible pain, but if it wouldn't be too much trouble, I'd really be grateful if you could get the name for me. (If it's too much trouble, I understand. My life will go on.). Thank you for this and all the other videos of yours I've enjoyed.

Dark Star seems to make some good notebooks, they're out of the UK. Maybe that would be a bit cheaper?
