You display so many skills. Photography. Video-graphy. Mechanical abilities. An ability to explain complicated subjects in a humorous and interesting manner. Love of family & children. Kindness to your animals and good shepherding of wildlife and your family farm. And financial skills, keeping the books and making a profit on the farm, after taxes!
Your videos have explained why hedges must be trimmed at certain times of the year, and the dangers of trimming out on the road (demonstrated by a Balmesh video).
Here in the USA, I think that for historical reasons, barbed wire does what hedges do in the UK, although it seems that is being replaced with electrical fences which seem to keep the cattle in place.
I remember a suburban neighbor used to advertise that he'd sharpen your hand saw for you (with a file), so I was wondering if those flails could be sharpened (like a lawn mower blade), or do farmers just buy replacement flails?
I imagine I'll blunder in to another one of your excellent videos and get an answer to this. In fact, if I just get back to finishing this video, that answer may be revealed.
And I guess I could go online and find out the price of replacement flails, as all the equipment you need to buy (or rent) to run a farm (including prices of vet bills, fuel, and medications seem simply enormous (plus figure taxes out at the end of the year).
It all looks exhausting, or as if one needs to be a Superman, or Super-farmer, which tells me why it's much easier to watch your videos, rather than be a real one like you. :)
    Good video. Thanks.

Thanks for your kind words. Further to your question, most farmers would sharpen these flails with an angle grinder, however there comes a point where they are too short and have to be replaced

While you were at it you could have bought and replaced the oil seal kits in the various lift cylinders, particularly the tilt cylinder, that would have stopped that annoying downward creep in the mower.
