@@cross8215 I have had the bike since November…..my first Ebike . I haven’t road in the rain as of yet. I do keep a couple of quart sized ziplocs in my bag in case it does rain. I’m thinking the control panel and maybe the throttle would be my concern. I’d doubt I’d do it intentionally….especially now in the cold….but I do some what prepare for it just in case
it is confirmed by myself.....that it doesn't work while charging. But.....as long as the run time meets the item description......4.5 hours on high and 7 hours on medium is plenty of time for me at least. At least in an emergency you have the option to do a quick charge somewhere, when you need it

Could you plug in your USB cable and see if the light will operate that way

I have one exactly like it and sadly it will not work when plugged in to a usb power source.
