Why is this so underrated?! This is such a good tutorial😦 Anyways thank you for this! I believe this will be a big help for my upcoming Neuvillette cosplay!!💙
So glad you found it helpful. I have only recently posted this video. But hopefully it will get the chance to reach people to help them. Feel free to share with anyone you know who wants to make a fake hair line and enjoy your Nuv cosplay!!!! :D
I used hotglue to glue the wefts down, should I start over? Also the colour of the hair is darker where I glued, is there away to avoid the glue look on yhe hairline?
I would start over if possible, as I'd you use heat to style it hot glue won't hold. Glue will allways make it very slightly darker but I found with the clear glue it's minimal. To try and minimise glue lines. You could try and just put glue on the back side of the strands. But hair could come out and it could get super messy.
Hi ! Thank you for this tutorial !! I was wondering why we shouldn't use hot glue for the fabric at 1:35 ? My english is bad so I'm confused 😭 And does that also mean I shoudn't use hot glue to glue the strands of hair on the hairline on the wig ?
@luarya No worries :). The reason I have advised against hot glue is because when you style the wig afterwards you may use a hair dryer. Any tool that will heat up an area where you have used hot glue will cause the hot glue to get weaker, as it set when cooling down, if you heat it up again it can become unstuck. You can use hot glue but because of this I would advise against it.
Is it okay if the hair in the front is shorter than the bangs? (If you remember me) I’m doing a Dottore wig and the first layer I’m going to take off is shorter than the curtain bangs and I’m so scared to make him bald and there aren’t any tutorials that specify 😅
@@MollieznLolliez Of course LMAO- from the tutorials I’ve seen of making hair lines with wafts of hair (from the actual wig), Ive seen people take the front row of the bangs and unstitch it. On the Dottore wig I’ve bought, though, the first layer of the bangs is WAY shorter than the second layer of them!! I don’t know if I could just cut off some hair from another part of the wig or if I should just get another one of the same color in general 😭 (thank you for helping me like twice now, tell me if I need to like make a video or something??)
@Yurrial if you have extra to spare on other parts. If not what I'd recommend if you can is find the colour code of that wig and try to get some more of that colour - optimal solution. No point using to short bits 💖
