Thanks Magnus for this nice flight. I have been on Brussels many time and they do serve champagne, most inter Europe airlines don´t do it, and I´m a champagne lover. Loftet is very nice but not like the LH´s Senator ones. People can´t behave, like the one putting the foot on the wall. Hope to meet you IRL somewhere so we can have a drink or two in a nice lounge! Må väl//Göran 🥂
Tack Göran! I also appreciate LHs lounges. On this certain occasion, I must say the Loft was great. Very few visitors and a lot of free space. Let’s see when we meet! Take care.
Did you se the interview with Michael Leary where he discussed Business class in Europe, compared to long haul flights. He said that Business class on short flights dont add much value, but for a group of people its a necessity in long haul, if you have to do qualified work the next day.., thats why the Airlines can charge so much, also the luxury/Instagram component🙂. Looking forward to your review of Sheraton Grande.
Dear Anders, I haven’t seen that interview, but will definitely take a look! I partly agree regarding business intra Europe. On a flight with low cabin factor I think economy is ok. But on a full flight I value the blocked middle seat to be able to get a more private flight or as you write to do necessary work without someone looking over the shoulder. And… a glass of bubbly or two is always appreciated! 😃 P.s, Royal Orchid Sheraton coming up next weekend!
Train travel is only a valid alternative for flying on some selected connections, but for this one (Brussels-London) the only ‘defendable’ case for a flight would be connections in London to other air destinations. For a city to city trip, the Eurostar is way more logical and a lot better for the environment.
You are so right. This is a mistake made by me. I use a template, where I change the score after every flight experience. And somehow this went wrong this flight. The right IFE/Wi-Fi score should be 1. Thanks for your input!
Indeed. For a 40 minute flight. Great crew, food tasting good and lovely presentation. Great looking cabin. I always value the experience from what I expect in advaance. Thanks for watching!
The bowler hat display in Terminal B’s lounge is actually a reference to Rene Magritte..Great Report! Feet on bulkheads with/without footwear is just gross and telling the world what kind of person they are!!
They paid for the seat, they’re allowed. After all aren’t all planes supposed to be cleaned between each flight??? If not, that’s on the airline, not the passengers.
If you’re impressed by this you can’t haven’t travelled much. In most parts of the world (eg. Asia) you would get a lie flat seat and proper catering, not a sandwich. Calling this business class is a joke.
I think in each continent you need to compare like to like. I’ve had bad Asian businesses class experiences (middle seat blocked, which for that region is bad - Thai airways A320s) and great ones (Singapore Airlines and Emirates’ fifth freedom BKK-HKG). Thai’s 777s fall somewhere in the middle but didn’t wow me. In europe and in comparison with other airlines across the continent Brussels Airlines has good food, Lufthansa is meh, BA didn’t even serve me food on this same route, and SAS doesn’t block the middle seat. Turkish is the only one approaching the ‘Asian’ experience. But their flights tend to be much longer anyway.
@@ESC_ChrisM I agree with you that if you compare them with worse airlines with lower standards they might not appear as bad as they actually are by global standards.
Thanks from Belgium
Thanks for watching!

The head is not really a reference to Tin-Tin, but more to Magritte, one of the famous Belgian artists.
Thanks for your expertise. I thought it was the twins in Tintin, that use that kind of hats.

As you write. A connection is a fairly valid reason.
the view is by brussels airport, not the airline
Noted!
Thanks for watching!
Why do you rate IFE/WIFI 3/5? There is no IFE nor Wifi on the plane?

Its a very short European flight, no time for sleep🙂. This is what Business looks like in Europe, maybe you should be aware of that?
