Questions:
1. What are your predictions for the Arcana rework coming soon (Star card rework; card probabilities; scratch dealer rework, etc.) and whether this build will remain a high ceiling build?
2. Thoughts on Master vs. Critical elixir build? Master appears to have good synergy with Arcana's high crit damage (277.5%) but has poor synergy with the cull card. I presume Critical simply has the higher ceiling but Master with higher consistency? Some calculators suggest they perform similarly but it's hard to say because calculators presume you're playing 332 standard.
3. With +21 weapon and level 9 gems what is your sense of the "maximum" parse one should be able to achieve with this build? For context, I've swapped over to this build a week ago, and am enjoying it but it's quite difficult (it's my first time ever playing Empress, and I've played Emperor since release). With +21 weapon I've been able to get the parse to 20-21m after a week of practice. I'm hoping to get it closer to 23m+ within another week or so of more dedicated practice but idk where the "ceiling" would be for my character.

I hope we get the update with thaemine but it will probably come a month after.
Talking about ceiling, I think my build has potential to be the strongest one both before and after the rework but it's harder to play.
My build has 100% crit on the red skills with stream is active, so master is very bad. It works for normal empress builds but would not recommend it.
It's hard to say what dps you should do since everyones gear is very different. Would recommend you to check the parse at the end of my 440 guide video and compare your gear.
The real ceiling from my build comes from maximizing self buffs, cards and especially the balance stacking techs 👍

Enjoying this build a lot, but I definitely have a lot of room to improve considering I'm around the same level but parsing 27-28m on average. I have a grasp on the base combos and scenarios when to use cards, but I'm having trouble trying to commit to muscle memory using skills to burn mp and optimizing SOE usage.
Were there any areas that you practiced a lot that you felt made a significant difference once you had it nailed down?

I practiced a lot of balance stacking in trixion in combination with cards to ingrain the muscle memory.
Most of arcanas complexity and high ceiling comes from doing a lot of things at the same time, while also having good uptime and adapting to the cards + boss patterns.
This comes with a lot of practice and I would compare it to learning an instrument

Why do you spiral edge side to side? And why do you whiff your serendipity?

Think the spiral edge is just a habit I have because I usually dance around the boss with that skill to avoid attacks and repositioning.
Serendipity in the air is just to burn mana when it doesnt interupt the rotation
