I've noticed these scooters hanging out in your garage. Happy you made a video for them.
It's especially fun to install modded firmware onto these. The motor in most kqi scooters is the same and artificially limited for each model, the modded firmware allows my kqi2 to top out at 25mph.

RK9 had an overall favourable view on this too as he's done the others in the range also and you've pretty much echoed what he has said.. so yeah.. reviews look spot on for this scooter. Thanks as always for reviewing these items and we cant wait for emobility to be legalised here in the uk next year (hopefully!!!)
My coworker just bought this after I had bought a Uscooters GT Sport as a backup commuter for myself. I actually liked it. He only has a 1 mile commute vs my 5 miles. I've caught up to him a few times on my commute to work at 5am. The rear tail light is really visible in the dark. Not sure how well he can see with the headlight but its also very visible when facing it head-on even on street lit roads. If I was to get a Niu, it'd prob be the KQI3 for the better speed and mileage but also for the self healing tires.
I own the Kqi3 Sport. It's been great so far!
Great content, as always Jimmy and Andrew! You guys should review the new KQi3 Max next, looks like it's a HUGE step up from this line and might be a great choice for the upper end of commuter scooters.
Thanks for the support! The KQi3 Max review will be coming soon. It's similar but a much larger deck, bigger battery, bigger motor, and higher speed. It's about 23 mph top speed but those extra 5 mph makes a big difference.
Love my KQI2 its gateway though to something much more expensive. Awesome first scooter.

How long it takes to unlock the speed

they were going for 389 plus tax on BF this year. i picked one up at best buy
One thing the trigger accelerator most of them are defective and you have to replace all the wiring inside gets loose. I had to order one and you know can you get an E3 fault. 23 bucks from the company

I never had to do that to get the full speed on mines, i had it instantly after skipping the tutorial and putting in on fastest mode, good scooter tho, wish it was faster

How do I turn off e save
its on by default but to turn it off hold the power button for about 2 seconds then let go. this will change the mode just be aware that you will go quicker but drain battery faster. if you prefer to save the battery stay in eco only turn it off if you absolutely need the speed. to turn eco back on same thing just hold for about 2 secs and let go.
If it didn't max out at 220 lbs I'd be interested.

@@epik89 yeah definitely need to but time and physical issues don't make that easy.
What I don't like is I bought this used and I cannot pair with the app because I'm not the original owner and have no proof of purchase, and without these the company won't let you sign in the app.. it was a good safety feature for theft but in the long run it's stupid
