I logged in to my ChatGPT account via the website, clicked my initials in the upper right hand corner and the following line items are seen: -My plan -My GPTs -Customize ChatGPT -Settings -Download the App -Log out Download the App seems new as it wasn't there when checking previously.
I really liked the Video and what was tried out, especially let two AIs have a Conversation. Sad, that the Mac Desktop App is not available for Download anymore

How to use any good apps or programs with a mac. 1) Open any web browser on your MAC 2) Navigate to a web site which sells computers like amazon or ebay. 3) Buy any computer that is not a MAC. 4) Wait for new computer to arrive. 5) Throw MAC away 6) Enjoy the 90% of the home computing experience you have missed out on up to this point. 7) Thank GOD! 8) Question if GOD exists because if he did MAC wouldn't exist. 9) Become an apologist for GOD and blame the devil for allowing MAC to exist. 10) Continue not taking responsibility for your own mistakes. Like ever buying a MAC in the first place.
You mention you wish the responses were shorter, this isn’t the multimodal conversation mode that’s going to be released in the next few weeks that was shown in the demo. This is still translating speech to text and vice versa. With the conversation mode responses are instant and you can interrupt it’s answer

I understand from your comments that it’s not there now, but where do I specifically go to check to see if it’s there again? I’m guessing downloading this from the AppStore on my Mac is not the same as downloading it from the website because it’s not a ‘desktop app’?

@@itsfatihh it depends, i have plus and i'm in EU and the voice chat feature of 4o says its coming in few days/weeks ...otherwise 4o works, currently i can use the voice only on the basic 4 version
Dont cut videos when you try something, and dont use clickbait and dont try to fool people alright. If you want people to expreience something truly what it is like then never ever cut when gpt respond. just let people see what is real life experience.

@@dundasbrands The new voice model has not be released yet, despite you being able to use GPT 4o. Right now it uses the OLD voice model with the new 4o underlying model. SO..... in few weeks (months?) the NEW voice model will be released, with all the laughing, sighing, singing, emotions, etc, that were shown in the presentation.

I think it's not publicly available right now. It looks like they removed it. I'm sure they'll release it at some point soon.

You can’t open the application “ChatGPT” because this application is not supported on this Mac.
Yes I think you might need an M1 chip mac and above.
That’s not the new voice feature yet, it’s the old one. They haven’t shipped the new one yet.
I see maybe that's why they took it down off the site.

I think they took it down for some reason. I downloaded it last Friday. But i checked yesterday and couldn’t find it.

O was right it’s only available on MacOS 14 and Apple Silicon (M1 or better)
