Dear professor, At min 8:00 we have hbar=h/2pi and wavenumber k=2pi/landa , if we substitute both into momentum formula don't we get p=h/landa ? Isn't this not the energy formula . Surely there is something that I am missing. Thank you in advance!
That's not the formula for energy , p=h/lambda is momentum of a particle(electron), described by debroglie showing the connection between particle and waves.

Energy is h x c / lambda (which is equal to h x mu (mu is frequency). That's why h / lambda is momentum, not energy.
