Snorkel Install/Установка шноркеля

As we prepare expedition car of course we need to have snorkel. See how we put it on the car.
When connecting pipes we first need to put clamps on the diminishing pipe, then inside and outside warm it with dryer, so that the plastic becomes soft and slightly twist clamps until they perfectly fit the pipes of the snorkel. After that you have to wait until they cool down, and then they are dismantled in interference.
To make the position of snorkel my husband made a cone-shaped bolt. This special bolt was screwed into the most distant hole. And when having attached snorkel to the wing and knocked it, remained a dent. And then by connecting this dent with the main hole, the template fit, as expected, and all the other holes were marked and drilled.
Holes that were drilled in the wing were filed and painted with primer.
When mounting snorkel we also put bitum foam to avoid a hole in which sand, dust that can fall in it.
Устанавливали китайский аналог сафари шноркеля.
Шноркель подошел и полностью соответствовал описанию.
В комплекте шла основная труба, переходная муфта, которая зажимается на кастрюле и на основной трубе двумя хомутами, кронштейн для крепления на стойки и гусек.
