i think it’s good that you listened to her mom & her as well. you cut it a little more shorter again just for her to see it shorter curled but her mom said she can come back & get it shorter, but i bet she’s gonna remember the bob she wanted 🤣
No I LOVE it that length. She’ll appreciate the length too as soon as she decides to whip that ponytail out! 😂 Personally I love everything about it! She looks beautiful.
Nope, it was fine where it was. Kids are so indecisive, it’s easier for her to have it cut where the mom wanted it and if she gets home and really wants it cut again then her mom can bring her back.
I would’ve let her cut her hair. A lot of black women/moms are scared of cutting black hair as a trauma response. It will grow back healthier. She’s doing it for good reason she wants her curls back, summer is the best time to do it.
Trauma thing! It ain’t all that serious. The girl is only thirteen and mom didn’t want her hair cut off, nothing wrong with that. I have a daughter that age and no, no, and no she is not cutting her hair off that short at her age sorry! She wanted her curls back but all her spit end were cut off so her curls will be back, but this young girl didn’t understand that. She also doesn’t understand that when they do come back it’s not going to lay down like it was before with it being shorter. Her mom made the right decision and the stylist did amazing. In the end the young girl loved it.❤ Congratulations by the way! When you have your baby you’ll understand what I mean; especially if it’s a girl.
@@HairByPierre that’s not even the case. You cut their hair and then next week they’re crying because it’s too short or not laying the way the want it. They are kids and don’t make the right decision. A lot was cut off. Any more and it wouldn’t be able to be put in a bun or pony and she would be upset.

I don’t understand why either. I could understand not wanting her to dye it but a couple of inches off won’t hurt. It will probably be less maintenance.
Truthfully it seems like it was the mom who didn't want to let go of the length babygirl was just trying to have healthly hair, you did a great job in the end and she seem happy
Beautiful results!!! I appreciate her dedication to trimming her split ends, regardless of the length she ends up with. Many of us prioritize hair length over its health, forgetting that regular trims, like once a month, actually promote stronger and healthier hair growth in the long run.
My mama wouldn't let me cut my hair when I was that age either. I wanted the Halle Berry. As soon as I got grown, I cut it OFF! Been Anita Baker ever since 😂
Its her mom, the girl wanted it shorter, and I feel like she should have let her make the decision. Hair grows back and it wasn't a huge jump from this.
My mom let me cut my hair short for the first time at 15. And I was just like this young lady. Lol. I was more than eager to cut all that damage completely off! I didn't care nothing about no short hair, I just wanted healthy and cute. Even the stylist asked if I was sure like 3 times before she did it because I was going so short, and she thought my hair was too pretty to cut off like that. I was ecstatic though. That was the first I could remember having all healthy hair on my head. And it grew so fast right back because it was healthy and easy to maintain and take care of. I hope she's able to cut it as short as she desires soon...

It turned out really pretty. Once she goes in that water her hair will be the length she wanted. Enjoy the curls. When school starts again maybe her mom will consider the bob. She might not even want it once she sees the growth.
My mom couldn’t have cared less how I cut my hair when I was growing up. As long as she didn’t have to do it she was cool 😂she basically wanted a bob so she could bobbiana all summer 😂😂 I think tighter curls would have tricked her into liking it until the curls dropped
Mom wasn't having it LOL. You were very diplomatic and tried to let her ease into her decision because once it's gone, you can't reattach it lol. Her hair looks very healthy and doesn't seem to have a problem flourishing 😊

I think she should go shorter if she wants. Education about maintaining her hairstyle is probably what mom wants, but another argument may come up over perceived shortness of the hair when it's back curly. Enjoy the cut in the meantime.
No one is at fault. I think mum was right not to cut her hair any shorter. The little girl isn't really thinking about when her hair reverts back to natural that is will be shorter.
