Playthrough content is difficult. I like to make it, as it is the most fun for me. That being said, the fact of the matter continues to be that it is a content that most viewers are not interested in. Been playing and messing around. Have big issues with framerate on PS5. The fight versus the knight was a nightmare in 10 fps. Playing offline helps. Also found a superboss by running in the "not intended direction", but this one is really hard. Will come back later.
Now that you mention it, I have had framerate drops on multiple occasions during a boss fight. There were certain attacks from the boss that generated a lot of visual assets that would make the game skip a beat or two. Also on PS5. It is not a problem, at least not yet, but it is noticeable. His scripted content is a lot different than his live content, but he still swears even in the scripted videos.
I appreciate your comment, as it allows me to explain the different content types in my channel.
First of all, I believe that you have me confused for someone else. I have not done any content related to Baldur's Gate. As awesome as the game is, I chose to enjoy it privately.
Second, and to answer your question, nothing has happened to me. This is who I am and, most importantly, who I will always be.
There are two types of content in my channel.
Most of the content is made up of scripted guides on builds and mechanics. I try to teach viewers about how the game works and how to make powerful builds that don't sacrifice fun. This is my "professional" content. Highly scripted videos where I try to speak as correctly as possible in order to convey the information exactly as it is intended. This is "Professor Frowny", if you will, and "Professor Frowny" barely uses foul words. Almost zero.
And then, the smaller part of the channel is made up of these playthroughs where I play through my favorite games. These videos are just me, playing a video game and showing you my thought process. This is how I learn. This is how I get good. There is a lot experimentation. There is a lot of stupid ideas. There is a lot of failure. And, as you have mentioned, there is a lot of vulgarity. But like I said, this is who I am. The "shit"'s and the "fuck"'s have a purpose. You will also hear me say a couple of words in Spanish (my native language). Hell... sometimes I run with full phrases in Spanish. It is a system; and it is "Frowny at home". I am just playing a game, relaxing after a difficult day at work. Much like you would do. I drop all the formalities, I open a cold one (or three), and I do what I love: play video games.
There is going to be a lot of vulgarity in this content. If this is not for you, I completely understand it and I recommend that you do not watch the playthrough because, the harder the game gets, the worse I will get. You should have seen me fighting Malenia for 6 hours straight.
My dear viewer, in this channel, we follow the philosophy of the great Mr. Sinatra. We fucking do shit our way.
