The Amazon/Nile longest river thing is actually contested because geographers argue over where the 'true' start and end of the Amazon is.
Also argue over where the Nile begins, I've always heard that the Nile is the longest though
Even an online search doesn't help much, since both claims are there. At least we know that the Nile is the longest northern flowing river in the world.

The biggest plot twist for me was Irys, the V-singer, not knowing what a treble clef is. LOL
Maybe she knows a non-english Term. For example in Germany we would call it "Notenschlüssel" (literally: note key), G-Schlüssel (lit.: G-key) or Violinenschlüssel (lit.: violin key). Except for G-Key none translate well.
And I had to look that up as well, since it never comes up in conversation.

From what I know, the largest is the amazon river while the longest is the nile river (?)
depend on where you measure its beginning and end and the year/season, as the amazon changes shape a lot making it nearly impossible to measures its full length. the general consensus is they are within 3% of each other's length with the amazon at times longer and other times shorter. the thing is the amazon is far and away bigger in terms of water volume. in fact 20 of earth's fresh water is in the amazon. putting it in a volume class whole factors of 10 larger then the next closets river (in terms of volume); so now days scientists simply give the longest river title to the amazon.
You'll be hard pressed to find a scientific concensus on the topic, but generally that is how it's acknowledged since the Amazon has like 4x the overall volume (or something like that) but the Guinness book of world records does say that the proper answer is The River Nile.

A bean is a legume, but a peanut is not a bean. A cloaca is a butthole, but a butthole is not a cloaca. There also was the blood one, that saw a lot of conflict. The answer is hemoglobin, not oxygen or iron. It's the reaction of oxygen and iron in the hemoglobin, so iron and oxygen would also work, just not only oxygen or only iron.
Heme is red due to the iron regardless of whether it is bound to oxygen. Binding oxygen to it does change the color, but only slightly (from a darker red to a lighter, orangish red), so I think I also would have accepted iron or hemoglobin but not oxygen.

So about the longest river question: it's actually disputed whether the Amazon or the Nile is longer. Google would tell you that it is Amazon, but sources like NatGeo answers Nile instead.
The official longest river in the world by Guinness is the River Nile, but other sources still say that it's the Amazon.

While Amazon is the BIGGEST river in the world, Nile is the longest.
The Nile is the longest river from source to mouth (6650 Km vs the Amazon's 6400 Km, although the Amazon does have the largest discharge volume and drainage area).
Beans and peanuts are both legumes, but a peanut is not a bean (also note a pea is also a legume).
Nile is actually the longer of the 2 rivers, being about 160 miles longer.

The Nile IS the longest river not the Amazon. But the LARGEST river by volume (est.) is the Amazon. So it’s kinda a trick question.
Measuring length of rivers is iffy. If you measure the adjacent Pará estuary and the longest connecting tidal canal the Amazon becomes longer than the Nile (which doesn't have an estuary that can change the length that much).
The Brazilian National Institute for Space Research has made that measurement so it's not like there isn't scientific backing for the claim of the Amazon being longer either
