Tried it myself, it kind of works ... ish / sometimes. Maybe it has something to do with how you use the diafragm to pronounce the whole thing and it stops the spasm. Or maybe it only works 100 % on v-tubers.
@@gusty9053 Hiccups are a leftover reflex from back when our ancestors were still amphibious. I think it could make sense, if reminding yourself that you're not a fish did cause a disruption in the neural pathways that cause the reflex. Or maybe it's just that holding your breath, while thinking about the sentence does it. More research is needed.
