Lightcast island is a really cool place located in the north tabantha sky archipelago and above Nero hill. It has a shrine and a piece of armour in it and puzzle you do to get the shrine and armour is really cool, using light and mirrors.
The North Gerudo sky archipelago is probably one of my favorite in the game. (Coming from someone who completed ever sky island) It is just so cool how it is a ring of islands surrounding a Death Star. And it’s in low gravity. It just gives of Star Wars vibes.
For Saria Lake, it also works if you have the Sheikah Sensor and a picture of a silent shroom (which is what those are); just set the sensor to locate Silent Shrooms and follow your beeper!
The second I got to that star island I put a travel medallion on it right away marking the highest point. From here, you could execute the longest fall duration on record by jumping from the pillar pointing towards Hyrule Castle then with the glide suit you can aim for the deepest chasm near by, which is the said castle's chasm. Of course you have to dodge the structure itself but the glide suit could help steer you around it. Also for the record I placed a travel medallion at the lowest point in the game, which is the diving perch that sends you down to fight Ganondorf and his army.
I've found so many really interesting nooks and crannies in the depths. I'm sure they're there simply for those of us that just love exploring and don't really care that much about reward. most of the really hard to reach areas have an ore deposit which to me feels like, yeah, not a great reward. BUT those ore deposits feel to me like Nintendo is just winking at us like "yep we put this area for you to find, we knew people like you would enjoy trying to get here."
there's a flame gleeok southwest of the foothill stable in the sky. the exact coordinates are 2238,0693,0795. you can see it if you go to the jirutagumac shrine or the water temple
There’s a stone tablet deep underground at these coordinates: -0253 0767 0028 almost underneath Hyrule castle. It takes a good bit of exploring and like 20+ bomb walls to get to. It talks about how Rauru imprisoned Ganondorf underneath the castle. It’s a cool few paragraphs of lore that I missed my first pass through looking for the soldier armor set. You can also use this room to ascend into the castle if you go all the way up the spiral stairs. Pretty neat!
Wow! I'm amazed at how fast my suggestion made it onto the video. I only left it yesterday. Great work! I meant to mention the room at the top of the temple as well, but I wasn't sure if the Room of Glorious Light had any other significance aside from the boss fight.
Wow you included the location I mentioned. However the beetles aren't the only thing there. There are various plants up there too. I believe even the rare Hearty Radish can be found there as well. And alot of Stambulbs.
Bronas Woods, right north of the Lakeside Stable- if you come here at night when it’s not raining every so often, there will be a TON of all three kinds of beetles on the various trees. It’s a great farming spot
Considering merchants and shops don't sell them and they are just generally rare this is a great tip and location. Thanks for posting this! I no longer really need them but I want test something with elixirs at some point. Any easy way to find beetles is always awesome. Especially for those armor upgrades.
No problem! I believe the beetles respawn after about 100 minutes of real-life time, so I go there every so often. Just like you, I don’t really need them anymore, but they are useful for elixirs and armor

On the west part of the land near Hyrule Castle on the ground there's a pile of black rocks. Cords -0493, 1003, 0052. After breaking the rocks, (they are tough, u might need to use Yunobo's power or Riju's power quite a few times) there is a secret chamber where you will fight Gloom Hands. There's a chest in there that gives you a glider fabric :)
You have to do the lightning temple before you can start the boss battle. I didn't drop down from the ceiling, but I did accidently go up through the floor when first doing that one and it was just a chill room lol
All the way on top of hyrule castle on the chappel there is a little secret tied into the side of the chappel but on top of it u have a very good view and its very majestic.
In Akaka theres a place called ordorac quarry just behind the spring or power. Theres not much special about it Reilly but lots of silent shrooms are there and the rocks are great for part core. oOH and it spawns gloom hands. But over all its just a fun little place to hang out especially at night ☺
I can confirm. I looked around before finishing the temple, and ascending won't let you fight it early, and I didn't see the crack, but I might have missed it.
Mystashi's Shelf Cave. You can find it at -3938, -0749 and 0571. (Closest Tower is the Gerudo Highlands Tower and the closest shrine is Turakawak Shrine) It is located right where the Keeha Yog shrine was in BoTW, which was the shrine you could only unlock from using a shock arrow. Now where you had to shoot a shock arrow is now a cave. The cave itself is pretty tiny, but there's a terminal from the lightning temple in there that if you use Riju's ability you can get a large Zonaite. I just find it pretty interesting that this random cave has a special thing from the lightning temple in it. There's also sand in there, despite it being in the Gerudo Highlands.
South of Lanayru Wetlands and North of Telta lake is the Rikoka Hills well where a woman runs the Moza Hideaway restaurant. There she cooks dubious foods and rock hard foods and upgrade them into monster stews with a higher heart output. Coordinates 1716, -0650, 0023
Not sure if you mentioned this location yet but there’s this really cool cave south of hikaly woods where you’d find misko’s treasure in botw. It’s a neat cave that gives you a bunch of Zonai parts that you then use to wreck through monsters in the cave. It also under the largest waterfall in faron. Cords: 1950 -2600 0072
Sturnida Springs Cave has a breathtaking crystal cavern hidden in it. First you have to move a boulder and then you have to crouch to get into that space. It is completely covered in various mushrooms (-4055, 2577, -0006)

One other location is Princess Zelda's Study. It is on the bottom left corner of Hyrule Castle. It has royal guard weapons, and it may or may not have a diary? There definitely was one in botw
I thought that the lookout landing camera island that fell didn't update on the map correctly so that's actually cool there was an island at the highest point possible.

At the lightning temple I got to the room of queen gibdo by accident from under it before the fight (climbed a statue and ascended) It was empty and there was nothing to do there, with you entering from the top, I assume that's open when you fought her? If so, I wonder if my discovery could help in some way with your question (and when I entered it by accident I wondered if there was a way to sequence break it?)
spoiler warning: if you go in the room behind the giant goddess statue in the forgotten temple at -1058, 2698, -0084, you can find a secret "storehouse" for the secret stones, as shown in memory #9. If you go further you can find a map of the geoglyphs with a gigantic light shing down from the ceiling. I think it could have been rauru's "temple of light" since it is hidden behind hylia, the representation of light and a gigantic light beaming down on the map. Also, sonia's grave is in the first room along with the secret stones pedestal
If you're talking about the Agaat Canyon Mine, the reason why it's cool is because you can't climb the mountain in either game so it's cool that they added depths under that area.
There's this beautiful crystal Cavern in the Stumida Springs Cave, located behind a rock, the Cave is lined with different mushrooms, but is also incredibly bright for a cave location, Exact Coordinates are (-4069, 2570, -0002)

I go back there frequently to get some hearty bass that are just flapping around in puddles. Just walk around and scoop them up.
It's cool to drain the lake and get the hearty bass, if you do not blow up the Rocks and leave, the lake refills and the fish respawn too
Blupee burrow - such a cute location in the depths seeing all the little blupee’s running around

Underneath the spring of courage, the wellspring of courage in the depths is so cool

4:21 Place a Travel Medallion and use to to fly to most locations on the map and to reach all the dragons.

Rutile lake is amazing. The wildlife and plant life flourishes there. It is especially beautiful at night time.

It looks like to me that saria lake path you took is the old shrine quest path from breath of the wild.
You have to do the lightning temple before you can start the boss battle. I didn't drop down from the ceiling, but I did accidently go up through the floor when first doing that one and it was just a chill room lol
You need Riju's Lightning to initiate the Boss battle and she can only get up there through that central lift

Yeah, if you enter the boss room early, nothing will happen. I accidentally ascended into it, but Roku didn’t follow, so it was just an empty room

For that super high island if u would wear the zonai armor that's powered up it reduces the battery that the zonai devices use

With the lighting temple you can get to the lightning temple top room with ascend though you can’t start the boss without Riju so
There is a guardian on top of the ancient tech lab in heteno village.

yeah if you go to the room of glorious light early, the queen gibdo just isn't there basically
If you go to the super depths the sun look’s crazy to get there you need to clip through the depths floor
