Dear Susanne for your brushes: just use a damp towel to wipe the color off (rub the brush on the wet towel) and do it several times after that do this with a dry towel again several times until there is no more color on the towel. I’ve been using my brushes for years now and I’ve cleaned them like this and they still work great

I love this page! Tip with the brushes our teacher taught us was to keep one for reds, one for blues, one for greens etc. then they won’t mix as much 😊

Thank you so much! Yes I tried it... but over time I messed them up anyway. I will now add a color sticker to each of them!

Do you have video that explains how to mount unmounted or use your unmounted stamps? I bought some a while back and they came in sheet and I have no clue what to do and too scared to cut them without tutorial. They are beautiful fall leaves . Looks like you added something to the stamp before you added to block . Your cutting is amazing!!! Coloring the outline of the mushroom in black from the back makes such a difference. What a great idea! Do you have to spray your pages with something so they do not stick together? Finishing spray?

Dear Regina, we have a blog post showing how to mount rubber stamps: www.rubberdance.com/blog/tutorial/how-to-use-unmounted-rubber-stamps/ No, I didn't add any kind of finish to the page. They do not stick. Acrylic paints usually become sticky in an art journal. Then it helps to lay a piece of paper inbetween or to wipe over the page with a white candle, to get a thin layer of wax.

I keep a set of brushes for the distress inks and another set for the distressed oxides as to not mix the two and I have multiple brushes for each different color family

Oh, yes! I tried that, but I haven't marked them and as they are so dark I can't see the colors and then I started mixing some of them up.... I think I will now give them a little color sticker! They are now working better after they dried after washing them! Thank you!
