Seen it three times, twice with straight friends. Everyone LOVED it. What a gift to me, a 70 year-old who's lived his entire life waiting for a movie as delightful as this, one celebrating our sexuality as well as our shared humanity. What a powerhouse Billy and Luke are together, each with their own iconic and unique brilliance.
Have seen BROS multiple times and will see it again! 🤔 it may become the GAY Gone With the Wind! 😉. Thanks to Billy, Luke, entire cast, and Universal for this groundbreaker! So much paralleled my own life. 🏆. 🏆. 🏳️🌈. 😎
It was a cute comedy, but definitely not laugh out loud funny. There were a couple good laughs and lots of chuckles in it, even a bit of a tearful moment. Definitely not a mainstream rom-com movie. Really it is mainly gay male audience movie the pokes fun at a lot of stereo types. It did border on the edge of a rom-com, but it wasn't. I would have loved it if it had actually been a rom-com (with Marfarlen and a completely different character than Eichner played). More realistically, it pokes fun at rom-coms. It was worth seeing and I'd watch again on some internet tv channel, I might even buy the dvd, when it hits the bargain bin. Macfarlane was the saving grace in this movie for me, but then I've always crushed on him and would see him in any movie.
Luke Macfarlane has an amazing, deep voice. It totally matches his muscular, ,manly appearance.
