- LaMelo Ball and his Spire teammates put on a show in their best game of the year at the 2019 Mustang Madness Grind Session event. Melo dunked, dropped dimes, and played with a purpose, entertaining the near sell out crowd. Spire won the game over The Rock handily and will play again tomorrow. Melo finished with 24 points, 9 rebounds, 12 assists and 4 steals.

Yo LaMelo looked so fast. And his handles looking freakishly better. His game just keeps on improving. Love seeing this guy's improvement day by day
Nick l he had great handles when he was shorter, he then grew tall very quickly and that effected his handles but now he seems to get it back and with time it Can be even better when he gets use to his new height

Daniel Wright I remember when I had a growth spurt in high school, my shins was always hurting, I felt awkward, kinda slower til I eventually got used to being longer.
I know a lot of NBA scouts are looking. His handles are back and at 6'7" he covers end to end very quickly. I like that he is not very selfish anymore. He use to be shoot 1st lazy defense. His overall game and passing ability has improved tremendously. He will definitely be a top draft....
