Greetings from Lombardia, north of Italy. Both my parents have Lombard names. According to the legend we, the Winnili, are now known as Lombards because Odinn called us that way, in a legend that shows the love of Frigg for us. Sadly, practically noone know this things, about our ancestral religion, not even here. The effects of "Christianity" and "multiculturalism".
@@TomasDobroslav7 Not really, because nothing is really certain about the etruscans. According to the knowledge we have, no, they have nothing to do with the Lombards. However, being as bries as I can, they are supposed to be related with the Rhaetic, of the Alps. What is known is that the artistic rapresentations of them are not to be considered accurate because they are influenced by oriental art. They were supposed to speak preindoeuropean but many studies are advancing the hypotesis that their was an actual indoeuropean language, and William Betham also claims that it was close to the ancient irish language. Analysis of the skulls performed by Piero Messeri shows that they cannot be distinguished by italian people (even if italians are not all the same), while Horst Claassen from Rostock university, and others are showing that these skull are the same of celtic people expecially from the La Tène archeological sites. The interesting part comes here, for by the hellens and the romans, celtic people were practically the same as germans, while Caesar writes that the romans considered some celtic tribe as "consanguineus". Caesar marks a separation between celtic and germans but it is more a kind of political separation. Also, according to a pretty hidden but interesting research that I found, full of evidences, there is a substratum of celtic language the in norse language and viceversa. So, while they are not supposed ti be related to the Lombards, evidences are suggesting that all the europeans might really have something in common with them, from a very ancient time. In fact, indoeuropeans are supposed to come from the same population that later devided into Kentum and Satem, and then they devided more and more.
@@BernasconiDerLangobard Yes, thank you for so many informations and ideas. I totally see this possible. My opinion is also that dividing population between celtic and german (and slavic) people is more political thing than reality... It was the old roman map where all those names were written because it is easier to conquer and controll smaller territories than one whole continent ... and about etruscans and their language, I’ve learnt that ther words can be read as old slavic language, something like azbuka when you mirror the text. And that Bulgarians can read it quite easily that way. Anyway generally I think differences between people were more obvious in the past but still there were large territories with people of the same charracteristics. Simply population was not so mixed ... therefor it is very acceptable for me that Etruscans could be simillar with so called celtic irish population or german. One thing I’m sure, Etruscans were very different from Latins who were more south in today Italy, by culture, by language, by genetics, by thinking.
@@TomasDobroslav7 Agree, and thank you for the info about the etruscan language. About the latins it is not easy. I will be long but I'll try to summarize why they were not "that different". The latins practically became Romans and you can even find their roots also in other European countries, of the east especially. They were using words that you find in ancient northern european languages, in fact they are indoeuropeans coming from the Kentum. The latin languages that we know are ecclesiastic latin, classic latin (from the time of Caesar), arcaic latin that even Cicero was not really able to fully understand. However there are strong connections between old latin and old languages from the north and these connections are much older than the expansion of Rome and than the linguistic influence. I will just give you a few obvious examples: the latin Frater, fratello in italian, is very close to a word used for sure in Britain and Ireland, which is Brater, that later became brother. F/B is the only difference; you also have the old norse (that I am trying to learn when I have time, Bróđir); Pater, very similar to the english father, also to the old norse Födr. In reality Celtic people were in all the italian peninsula before the arrival of the hellens (still indoeuropean coming from the kentum I mentioned). I will add this, even if it is not entirely related: my dialect is considered to be romano-gallic, or romano-celtic. People here are trying their best to clean Italy from the celtic, german and norse presence, even culturally. They even try do delete the "italian" presence in general, but we see this for all the European people essencially. In reality you have sentences that speaks for themselves, and I give you just a simple one: Italian: Devo prendere i pomodori; English: I've got to get the tomatoes; My dialect: Gú da catà i túmatis. Almost nothing to do with italian. Catà is very similar to get or catch. So this is clearly of german origin too. Back to the latin, we don't have just the linguistic similarities I was mentioning but also strong religious similarities. I deeply studied all the religions using translations of their text, from all the world, mainly indoeuropean. Yes, the ahestetic is very different, especially because people tend to design the Gods around the place they live in and the clothes they are using. Caesar tried to identify celtic gods with roman gods, however the very ancient religious knowledge was lost already and, to me, he failed. The concept is that the Gods were used to identify: entities of light and inspiration; in fact Deus comes from indoarian -Div, light, and God from Ghao, related to "calling", but also from Óđr, "inspiration". Interesting that both words (Ghao, Óđr) are at the base of Óđinn, since Ghao developpes in Gúdan, close to Wotan, close to Óđinn. In old norse a word for light is ljóss and I wouldn't exclude a relation with Dyaus, from India, Deus, from Italy, Zeus from Greece, and ofcourse the celtic Lugh. An example of how distorted the words can be is Jupiter, where Ju is contraction of Deus and Piter is Pater, father. Baldr, son of Odin, will come back to life after the Ragnarok, and He is a God of light, but also Odin and Thor are related to light and lightning. So they are entities of light and inspiration (for a specific theological and "material" reason) but are also used, with the same names, to identify archetypes. All the "pagan" religions had one single Creator. This is specified almost everytime in old text of by adding "father" after the name. Sometimes the Creator, like Zeus, is said to be a son of someone, like Cronus, but in this case it describes a history of decline of humanity after the first separation with the Creator. Zeus is the first and the last according to the Orphic hymn, the cosmic egg myth and so on, while Okeanos and Thetis, the creatore according to Omer, are 2 opposite flows of creation, like the male and female part of Zeus, and since the relation with Deity and light I wouldn't exclude them to be like electrical flows. This is the same for the Norse idea of a space of ice and one of fire that are responsible for the creation. They are elements of one entity, the AllFödr. This also leads to the OM yogic chant of the creation, that really comes from AuM, where A is the sound of open mouth and M is of closed. Similar to a simple Hum sound like electric sound. Also, Ahura Mazda, God of the iranian Avesta, is also called AhMi, meaning I "Am", and the I am sound is similar in the sound to the Norse Ek "Em", meaning the same. You also have Pluto/Ades, God of the deads. But you also have Óđin ValFödr, literally "father of the deads". Hellens and Romans are deviding Zeus and Ades, but Ades was also known as Zeus Katakhtonios, of the "underground". Poseidon was the God of ocean but was also called Ennosigaios, "who support the earth". The ocean was the ocean surrounding the earth and the sky, in the ancient world. This is why Varuna from India is God of both sky and ocean. Ægir and Rán, for the Norse, personificating ocean and sea, are the same as Okeanos and Thetis. Every old religion is speaking about "the great deceiver", Loki for the norse, Angra Mainyu for the Iranians (Iran, land of Aryans), Kali, for the indians, Typhoon for the hellens, Satan, all of them related to the snake/dragon, responsabile for the confusion in religion and loss of spirituality (described by the metaphor of Fenrir devouring Odinn, and this is happening right now). Also, in Scandinavia there is the Lesij or Leshen, in north of Italy you have the most ancient depiction of Kernun, in Europe: humanoid God with horns, same as the Leshen. What people miss is that horns were used to indicate Light, as Amon shows, in Egypt. In conclusion, I think that most of the mixing happened with the preindoeuropean stratus in all Europe, while problems and other mixing came after the arrival of judaism, the first terrorist religion who modified God for a specific group of people, and christianity. Before the Gods were the same, different for strong modifications of oldest languages. The religious attitude changed a lot with judaism and christianity. Nowdays people are claiming Italy to be racially impure, while you can even see the same for all Europe, even in Scandinavia with this kind of Asian admixture, here and there. Celts and Germans were also living in north of China by the way, before Caesar, sometimes marrying cinese princesses. Doesn't really matter that much to me, we are still what we are and should protect what remains. I really hope you might find something interesting in what I said, I have this topics in the heart.
@@BernasconiDerLangobard This is extreme :D I like how you look at these simillarities in old cultures. I also look at what agrees with each other because it is trully obvious that the knowledge was of the same kind everywhere till the religion you mentioned came ... that’s why I respect all ancient cultures and "pagan" ways. Yet I focus the most on my Slavic ancestors and culture, I see the truth inside which agrees with another cultures. ... So you mentioned the OM sounds hidden in our common words, so it is in my Slovakian language, I am = ja som ... very interesting. I noticed when learning russian language that number one is Odin, Один... in Slavic mythology there are easily noticable dualities too. Chernobog and Belbog (Black god and white god) is like Jing & Jang .. Perun simalar god as Thor or Perkunas in Baltics ... One Croatian-Slovakian journalist said that name for Germans seems to be becauce romans thought those people worship Hermes, among slavic languages letter H and G is often replacing each other. Also Herm is probably from our word Hrom = thunder, in russian language Grom. Verb for this word is Hrmi or in some dialects Hermi. Hermes might be equall to Thor, Perkunas or Perun. We might talk a lot but hopefully when people read this, it will help them to see the truth hidden in our roots. I wish you all the best.

I recently discovered the whole reality of "Rodzimowierstwo" or "Natal Belief" which i did not know existed, i learned about the gods, runes, and now I'm interested in learning about the celebrations, rituals, sacred locations, etc. Very happy to discover all this realm that nobody taught me. Waes Hail from Prague :-)
Very interesting. Do you know if there is also any connection between Lombards and old Etruscans ?
In reality you have sentences that speaks for themselves, and I give you just a simple one:
Italian: Devo prendere i pomodori;
English: I've got to get the tomatoes;
My dialect: Gú da catà i túmatis.
