I’ve created circuits before and it is not the easiest task so he even made circuits for the cyber truck
yeah but that isnt considered as invented dont get me wrong i think it is quite impressive but inventing is a whole another thing
Well, it's not "inventing something" technically
The hacksmith doesn't invent completely new ideas. He mostly takes them from fiction and alters them slightly to make them work in real life, which is undoubtedly insanely cool, but they're just not 100% his idea. I think that was what he was referring to.
Personal opinion: what he is doing now is miles beyond creative or impressive enough.

I love the hacksmith channel and I am a big fan of Colin furze. I know you guys have collaborated already and was wondering. It would be a cool video if you guys tackled each other projects for a video. For where you guys make your version of one of his projects like his drift trike and he makes a project that you guys made like the captain america shield. It would be cool to see how both channels would tackle a project differently.
I hope that heart you got means yes
That’s be really interesting to see
This would be great to see for sure. Perhaps my favourite thing to see would be a version of the Hoverbike, but that's just me
Yeah that would be so cool!
Sounds like a great learning experience for everyone. This video was already extremely helpful in learning basic electrical engineering. I didn't think you could just solder connections like that and have it work. I thought you would need some kind of board to do this job. I mean, you could use a board but still.
I bet you walk around that huge building and say, "I can't believe all this is mine", of course with the help of your crew. 😀
Haha, more often "I am never going to financially recover from this" xD

Love this video and the focus on the process of building the thing. Its always interesting to see how other people approach and solve problems.
V2, wherein he buys a second one wheel charger, shorted the cables and puts the onewheel bits inside the box so its J1772 socket on one end, and the one wheel cable coming out of the other.

I've been conditioned to expect to see Wren when anyone mentions a one wheel. This video did not disappoint.
YOU ARE AWESOME! I have even taught myself how to design and 3D print robotics! You really inspired me to make my own channel about robotics, building, inventing, and designing. My latest project is a combat robot named GEARHEAD.
That IS pretty awesome! Just subbed to you...
@ 1:19, I love how you just casually pull an electric BEAST of a Cybertruck right off a pallet rack, lol.
Very unique build with the one wheel as well. I'm an aeronautical engineering student and your channel inspires me to make projects I normally wouldn't otherwise. Keep it up and stay creative even through these difficult times.

You need to do more videos like these, it shows why you have a team of people to do different things and why you aren't always present. It also relates to us (at least me) more than your other videos. It doesn't matter if they're long, I really like the niddy-griddy details and the long, almost unedited videos.
Im so happy that Wren from corridor was included, he's so awesome. When I saw the one wheel I instantly thought of him
I love this channel, one day I want to be at least half as good as you at engineering. And since I'm in highschool this Chanel is perfect for me to get an insight at engineering thank you for making great content.

Me: laughs in 35675446765324789 wheel
I'm from Germany and love your vids, I studied electrics, and have a hint:
If you roll the cable like that in the box you build a small transformator and that produces heat and a higher voltage so it might be better to shorten the cable
PS: Can't wait for the Power loader to be finished :)
It's only a transformer if you have a ferrous material in between and a second coil. A plain coil of wire produces an inductor, but at this small amount of power it's negligible :)
@@hacksmith yeah your right 😅 on the other side (I don't know the exact amount ov power the whole thing drains) is the heat but it is probably used for a small period of time so it's to neglect
Just wanted to be sure keep on going that good work :)
Colin Furze would be disappointed in you!
You’re wearing a helmet

Awesome! This changes everything! Riding during lockdown is difficult because there are NO places you can sit, eat, and drink which makes charging options very scares. I had thought this could be done and I'm glad you took it upon yourself to make this happen. TY for this so MUCH!. Fan gained!
Bogdan tried to say "Also try not to blow up the warehouse" before James cut him off
I like it how you organise all your stuff on a big shelf
10:00 damn he’s just gonna fat shame his cat like that.
I like how the 1/2 scale cybertruck is just on a shelf... In the background...chillin.
I love that he disconnects the cable without checking where it goes
I mean he probably knows but still I find it funny
Who else remembers how they went from working in a small garage to, owning a giant warehouse to do all this stuff. It’s crazy how much it’s changed
Hey Hacksmith! So given you've already made your own cyber truck, you should make your own Onewheel or something of the sort!
half-scale Onewheel sounds impractical though
PixelMaster It doesn't have to be half-scale, just his take on it
2x scale onewheel? On average we could be normal with 1/2 cybertruck🤔
justus it could be a double wheel??
hey i love your videos unfortunately there are no comparable channels here in germany. With this video you gave me the idea of using a normal electrical socket to make a charger for my electric car. Keep it up(sorry for my bad English).
Everyone: disinfect everything!
James: let me touch that public charger and then immediately my phone.
as long as he doesnt touch his face, all is fine.

Nice job getting in the onewheel email letter!!!
when i get notification : Charging My OneWheel from EV Station
when i opened video : DON'T TRY CHARGING YOUR ONEWHEEL FROM EV STATION
As a Tesla and Onewheel owner I thought this was genius! Then I realized when I saw the box that it is too large AND you still need the OW charger! Make a small adaptor (probably not possible) and you will sell tons of them. That way I don't have to take the charger on long runs.
Talking about technical electrical science: *Shows the quadratic equation*
I love that you made it a universal adapter and not something specific to the one wheel.
I feel like James most of the time has those Phineas and Ferb moments when he decides what he wants to that day and goes like, "Ian/Bogdan/some other guy, I know what we are gonna to do today." This is EXACTLY why I love Hacksmith Industries and it's my dream to get a job here.
This is so cool.
