Wow, not a single swear word, you are a better man than me! Our 2023 UTB utility bay access door starting delaminating on one end. LTV sent me a new access door with all new hardware. However, I cannot get the old access door to slide off the existing rubber hinge which is only about a year old. LTV did not send me a replacement hinge and after watching this I would rather not replace the hinge at this point. I would like to just slide the old door off and slide the new door on.

Nicely done video! We are on an extended trip and just noticed one of our small doors has a partially torn hinge. IT IS NOT READILY VISIBLE! (Will be inspecting others.). Due to risk of falling off, we will take remedial actions until I can get some hinge material - hopefully from a LTV dealer that we will be near in 2-3 weeks.
Pierre, nice video, you make it look easier (though still a difficult job) than expected. Did you measure the new hinge at the exact length of the original piece? Thanks for sharing.
Ugh, I also have a Unity CB and will need to replace that hinge someday. Did LTV suggest cutting the channel so the rubber hinge could be inserted? It looks to be difficult to insert the rubber hinge from either end. Nice video.

Hi, yes it's recommended to cut the channel. At least for that compartment… it is maybe not required for other parts of the LTV
@@MrSanslenom with our Unity CBs we have the biggest and heaviest doors so I expect it will be the one to replace first.
