This is a great toilet - shame about the damaged 5 Gal tank and the worn glaze around the trapway opening but it does not appear to affect the performance. Took all the items pretty much perfectly and the bowl clearance is great also. A bit sad about the not very good bowl rinse but really that is the only real negative aspect about it. This gets a Great 8.5/10 set up on a 5 Gal tank (which it is supposed to with a 5 Gal bowl).
By some odd miracle I got another one that's exactly like this except that it is missing one of the priming jets in the trapway. This causes it to have poor suction and it clogged on a washcloth during my tests but if it had more water, it would definitely work better.
Amazing toilet however, theses not much a lot of these out there! This is probably because of the glaze or crack damaging issues considering that it breaks easy at the bottom. This is very unfortunate that MOST of these in these days now are get REPLACED most of the time. So if you were in a church or other bathroom sometimes you would unfortunately see the Wellworth Darry’s, dexters and bardon urinals only left in the restrooms. Of course unless you get lucky, BUT it may have glaze damage or cracks if you ever tend to find those toilets.
Vintage comfort height toilets were extremely rare as it is but if they weren't, I would probably find these as much as I find Wellworths from the same era.
So for the laymen amongst us. Is a Kohler Highline the tank version of a Highcrest?
It's the tank version of the Kohler Highcliff
@@OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations Sry I meant Highcliff.
@@corwynkingston3714 It's fine
Flush rating is an A+
Performance rating is an A+
I would say that the flush rating would be like an A- since the bowl rinse was bad
yeah right the bowl rinse is amazing
This is probably one of my favorite Kohler tank toilets.
I love these toilets including the 90s 3.5 highlines
I'd like to get one of those too
Flush: Neat flush 😁
Washcloth: Pass 😀
Grocery bag: Pass 😀
Washcloth and grocery bag: Pass 😀
Dishtowel: Pass 😀
Dry bowl: neat flush 😁
Dirt test: Pass 😀
Bowl rinse: okay 😀
Final results: Incredible 😁😁😁
I was impressed
Amazing toilet. Did well for most part.
Yeah, I just wish the glaze wasn't destroyed.

Yeah, I really liked this one.
This is amazing 1975 Kohler Highline! I love it!
Same!
Bowl rinse rating is a C
It could have been better but I think this toilet is still awesome
Awesome that it did so well with the tests!
Yeah! I was not expecting that.
I have finally been waiting
I've wanted a Highline for so long
Sad to hear about the tank. Great flusher though.
Yeah, I should be able to get another 5 gallon Kohler tank eventually.
Damn after all I’ve heard though they were bad but it’s actually soo good!

That’s a bummer that it’s missing one as it needs it to suction all the stuff in the toilet down the trap
You should clog the siphon jet
The siphon jets are up in the trapway so I can't clog them.
Way better than that Crane Classic.
The Crane Classic is a urinal compared to this.
I have a round wellworth from 1975 it has a barb in the trapway that's 1 inch long . mine flushes good on 1.28 GPF
I'm seriously questioning how a 5 gallon toilet can function properly on 1.28 but that's crazy if it can.
@@OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations I put it on my 2021 black Kohler highline tank

This did great! Mine performs about the same, the rinse on mine was a bit better though!
They probably improved that with the newer design.
yes'
Nice!!
Thanks!
Yo
Sup
A+ toilet
Yeah, I was impressed.
