Painting a Yellow Sky with Acrylics

In this video I will be painting a yellow sky with acrylics. I did this painting from a photo I took near my home during the Canada forest fires. The sky was an orange mustard shade and the air smelled of burning pine - amazing how smoke and odor can drift over thousands of miles.

Painting done on printmaking paper using acrylic paints. Used palette knife and plaster knife to achieve hard edge painting effects.
