Definitely one of Japan's top metal groups; all top-class musicians and Jill, the violinist, isn't just a side character, she is a virtuoso and does solos in many of UM's other works ( including doing Shiren's solo from this song live.) I'd recommend "Cadaver/Revadac" (read into that title a bit...) "Unending Sorceress" from UM and check out Jill's level of WOW with her cover of Van Halen's "Eruption" or Dream Theater's "Dance of Eternity," or Yngwie Malmsteen's "Far beyond the Sun" with the UM side project, Quadratum.

But after resting for a while and finding a new why to play, he decided to keep going. So Fuki without a main band and Shiren only now having the one, they asked the others that they had been using for live shows to join them in going full time, in 2016, as they all knew each other and got along well. The band: Fuki (vocals) is just a workaholic, she has over 100 releases to her name, mainly full albums. She is he band's co-founder. Vocals, Lyrics, Art direction, Illustration, Desktop publishing. Sings in multiple bands, she is the lead singer in Light Bringer, Unlucky Morpheus, DOLL$BOXX, and Fuki Commune/Fuki. She also does voice acting, she used to run a radio show, she has a kanji kentai level 1 degree, and she is a Sugino fashion college costume creation graduate, she makes some of the costumes she and the band wear, and has been known to do some modeling in her spare time. Shiren suffers with tenosynovitis, which make it difficult to play, he is getting better over time. You'll see him play a headless guitar in later video, as it has less weight to it. Sometimes it will be on a stand, it also has a strange body shape, that is so he can rest the guitar on his leg when he is not using the stand. Also due to the injury he took a bit of a step back and Jinya along with Jill took up the slack. Black Pentagram when they played it live, Jill used to play all of Shirens part of the solo, now she only does a bit of it as shiren is getting better, another song that happens in is Angreifer. As you can image (you listen enough of Japanese bands) they are even better on concerts! 😀 Recommend live version of this song, as well as "Angriefer" (song where Fuki sing like a human side of a vampire, and Shiren growl like a vampiric side) and "Dignity of Spirits" (song of 10 minutes, but it pass like a 3 minute song!). Also fantastic idea in the song "Cadaver/Revadac" where they play song in reverse after the first part! All in all, they are fantastic musicians, and of course I have a crush on Fuki, but she is beautiful woman and very good singer! 😃

...you can't really get a good look at Hiroyuki Ogawa's bass in this video ...but, it is piece of art just looking at it ( ESP E-11 5 string) ...with slanted frets and 3 non parallel pick-ups...looks aggressive sounds great
One of my top 3 Japanese bands. Their styles are varied and unique. Their music includes neoclassical, melodic death, speed metal, metalcore and other elements. The live version of 《Black Pentagram》 are even better, I recommend 《angreifer》 live as the next!🤘🏻🔥
I always suggest this over the live version. It is a little.....smoother as a first look and listen. Much of their live stuff has not so perfect audio/mixing.
fuki (vocalist for unlucky morpheus) is one of top 5 female japanese metal vocal for me for sure, along side of asami(lovebites), yuko (wagakki band), saiki (bandmaid), and mayu(nemophila) in no specific order. they’re all great vocalists.
This is the band I recommend after Love Bites. They are great live too. My favorite live. [Angreife] [Rnight of Sword] [Phantom Blood] Please try it.🤘😎🤘
