This is a beautiful painting and excellent video. I never would have thought to add the gauche as well as the salt that seemed to help a bit too and gave the vase beautiful texture. Thank you
No one would have guessed, seeing the final painting that there had been a mistake, at an initial stage, if you hadn’t mentioned it Lois! Brilliant comeback !!
Amazing! Beautiful painting. Thank you for sharing how you corrected the mistake. You did not give up. This type of mistake I’m sure that everyone has experienced something similar. Really appreciate your tutorials. You always inspire and educate me!
You’re so right. I’ve learned never to give up on my paintings and to press on. My whole life in watercolour is about pulling myself back from the brink 😂 Generally I can pull it off 😅 Loving the change in subject matter. The finished result is lovely ❤ Thanks for sharing your solution.
That is beautiful Lois! I love how you worked through the mistake. The colour of the vase snd the flowers make the painting come to life. I enjoy watching all of your tutorials and have tried a few of them. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge with us ❤
This was so interesting Lois. The colours make the painting. You were very patient in gradually inserting options to see what would happen. You actively show the learning process. You should refer to the learning circle in your book!
That was a great recovery. I think the pot looks very good. This is a devil of a subject, though not something I've tried. That black mix at the start was very good. I was expecting it to be black black and not a mix. Is this something you're going to pursue in the future? ❤
That was a great idea to add the gouache! The painting is lovely.
Thanks Sandy!
