I'm actually super pumped for this next update. Between these new exotic gloves and self-healing/skill-damage Gear Set... it'll be a nice way to mix things up.
I really want to see them with the Chameleon, essentially being able to have constant uptime of all three buffs. Should work afaik- 40 second cooldown on the exodus and 45 second buff dutarion on the Chameleon buffs.
same here until i saw a video on discord showing it. i was like PVE is pointless since NPC's knows where we are at all times and pretty much know where we want to go
Interested to know how it is with area of effect damage (e.g., explosives) in legendary, where you get pummeled in close succession by localized bombardments. First explosive damage breaks the armor, Exodus procs - if a closely following explosive volley hits you when in this state of out of combat, does that do damage, or is that damage nullified?
In the current Gear Set Meta/Best In Slot, it forces you to give up a High end Backpack or Chest making you lose a Talent. This serverly diminished the overal build.
this is honestly crazy by itself already but could you test if you can swap loadouts after the talent activation ? you could potentially just hotswap the gloves on and swap loadouts mid combat cant you ?
Does the exodus smokescreen affect the whole team or just your character? It would be insanely strong if your team is in the smokescreen and 1 Exodus affects the entire team who touches it. Take that into a raid or so and have players run through the smoke just to lose aggro and pop a full heal from it. If it does affect the team, then man, that's a good team build piece of equipment right there.
i'd say no, on account of incoming repairs only affecting healing coming from a source other than yourself (as far as i know, anyways) repair skills wouldn't help either, as it says in the name it only affects your skills capable of healing. i think the healing being applied is just your standard out of combat armor regen which can't be influenced in any way (again, as far as i know)
I do like the mechanic but when it's on cooldown, or off but not active, it's dead weight. Same reason I never end up using Unbreakable even though I like it. I prefer stuff that's always live or can be kept going. We need a sustain talent for chest that's active like Entrench, but not as restrictive.
Think it should be increased/doubled in pve combat so it’s a bit more viable. Definitely a way better exotic than the smg imo. Also sad that it’s gloves, but then again it’s the only other good one apart from btsu so idk.
So... unbreakable + no damage for 3 seconds (aka Vanguard?) on a gloves piece? Lol busted Would be interesting if this was a backpack and ninjabike bag was a gloves...

Probably a dumb question but do you need to stay in the smoke for it to work or can you run out of the smoke and it works as normal?

The damage will definitely still go thorough, Exodus just puts you out of combat for 3 sec., it doesn't make you invulnerable.

It's visual so the smoke only affects other players visually if it's pvp. I don't know if it applies as a team.

I think in pve they should cut the cooldown duration by half to 20 seconds & move tge effect from 3 seconds to 4 or 5 seconds

I wonder how hard its going to farm this in battlepass lvls. Cus honestly i dont like new battlepass progression method.
in the PTS you gain season exp from everything you do, just at a slower pace than doing priority missions or the journey.
