  • Hamish Bowles visits Porte de Clignancourt, one of the most famous flea markets in Paris, seeking hidden treasures for his impressive vintage collection. Along the way he visits Chantal Dagommer and Maxime de Laurentis, two dealers who he's developed close relationships with over the years. In Maxime's store, Hamish finds a special piece that catches his eye.

    I feel like someone needs to make a show about a person who travels around paris and finds antiques and gives the history around it. (almost like "american pickers" but with more class and better finds). would Totally watch...

      He will probably leave it to a museum in a trust. He might even "lend" pieces out for exhibitions now. He would probably make his money back or more if he agreed to a percentage of the ticket sales

    This series is not that interesting actually. It is just him rummaging around. It would be more interesting if he actually bought something on every episode and you see his excitement and he explains why he is buying it and why it is great.
