I also ran the Audi V10 R8 at Hallett Motor Race Circuit. Turned out my “right seater” is a Law Enforcement Driver Training instructor and has taught at my agency’s home track, so we had a lot to talk about. Your in-car camera footage brought back lots of memories and lots of smiles on my face. THANK YOU!!! Sorry you got lost in Texas, I’ll leave that at that, lol.
In my experience, Hallett is second only to TWS (may it rest in peace). Awesome place, amazing people, super chill. Just don't set the grass on fire with your exhaust when going off at The Bitch in July. You won't get yelled at, but it is frowned upon. I'm heading back there next month after a 16-year break. I hear they now have a tunnel, so you don't have to wait for a session to end to go get gas down the road. Great video!
Thanks for checking out the channel! I had a ton of fun at Hallett, but I'll be honest that this is not the best reference video. I think the line is probably decent, but I'm also learning a new car, while learning a track, while trying to be a good customer by braking when they ask me to and not when the car probably could. Give me about 3 laps in my NSX and I'd be circulating quicker than I was in this R8 just by virtue of car familiarity and no "training wheels" 😁

Was just at Hallett for a Lemons race, they recently dug a tunnel under the track between 9 & 10 so you can get in and out during a race.
Nice! Definitely an upgrade.
NASA Texas region visits that track. It is one I plan on going to . Looks fun! Thanks for the video!
I definitely left Hallett wanting more. If I end up through that area again I'm going to see if I can find at least a one-day event with the NSX.
Finally catching up on your latest videos. This track has a very interesting story. Thanks for sussing out the minutiae of it!
I think I hold down on the throttle more then I should. I'll have try some of the stuff I'm seeing I'm this video next time I go to hallett 😁

Great video, what did extreme experience cost?
Thanks! I was out the door for ~$410. That included renting the R8, buying the video, and I believe one of the insurance/deductible packages.
Hey I work here now come on down
I'd love to get back on Hallett with my own car so don't be surprised if we show up there again in the future!
Saw your car at the C&C in Knoxville today. Seen it a few other times. I got a sticker. Love the car. Just got yourself a new sub
Cool! I'm glad the weather ended up being nice! Thanks for checking out the channel and thanks for the sub! 👍👍
Another track under your belt! Sadly, I don't think Idaho has any road courses.😫
Based on what I've found you're unfortunately right. Your nearest look likes a toss between Oregon Raceway Park and Utah Motorsports Campus.
