Everything you said! We knew we were booked on the "Dreamliner" for our flight to London, but our flight home was supposed to be on the Airbus. VA changed it from Airbus to another Dreamliner. So disappointed. Changing the plane changed our seats and my husband's seat ended up being completely across the plane...on the other side of the center row of seats. This plane is uncomfortable and just...odd. So that he could look out the window, which is basically behind you, my husband sat on his knees on the seat cushion. When you're sitting in the seat, there is little room to move. I felt claustrophobic, to be honest. That's really uncomfortable for 10 or 11 hours. The only good things about my Virgin Atlantic experience were the Upper Class lounge at Heathrow (the one at San Francisco is tiny and seems quite an afterthought) and the crew, who did their best to make the most of these unpleasant flights.
that crazy flip seat - I was hoping by this time post pandemic this cabin would be refreshed or retired. I do remember the flip seat being slightly more comfortable to sleep on than on the Airbus - but it's not great enough to offset the older screen and other strange arrangement of the seat.
It’s a tired plane and an interesting layout, but I still prefer the Boeing over the Airbus. I always get a better sleep on this one, which is important as it usually land from MCO or MBJ early am. TPA uses the neo and it just seems a little tighter and I ain’t that fussed about looking out a window. Food always good and VA crew are always outstanding. Trying Emirates business to Thailand later in the year so hoping that will be at least on par. 380 first hop will be good but the 2nd hop is on a 777 and i heard that’s a bit pants:) Nice vid
All looks a bit tacky, plastic looking and very cheap compared to Emirates etc. and the stewards rather unprofessional. And that’s not mentioning how woke they’ve got recently

Agreed. FA's are great and that lounge is fab. Thanks for the comment!

Thanks! I think you'll like Emirates!
Thanks for sharing. Great video. I strongly dislike the Virgin Atlantic Upper Class cabin. Their Premium Economy product is very good, though.
Agreed! Thanks for the comment. Please subscribe!

Woke? I missed that. Please elaborate. Thanks!
You won’t have seen their latest UK to ad campaign. Almost as annoying as still seeing people in pointless masks 😂
