Fun fact: in one of the older versions of x10, equipping the black box healed you when you took sentry damage. That's only mildly interesting, were it not for one thing: the people that code the plug in forgot to add a maximum amount you could heal with it. So when the server I was on figured that out, we did the only logical thing.
My whole team went engineer, trapped an enemy soldier in the corner of our intel room, surrounded him with level 3 sentries, and didn't let him go until he had 1,000,000 health.

No, because it doesn't have longer range than a regular Sentry. Logically, it should have only one hit point and deal a shitload of damage and knockback, because it's greater than that of a lv.1.
It deals less damage, but fires faster, so it should deal 0 damage but fire really quickly, but x10 isn't that accurate.
