This channel focuses on combat flight simulators like DCS World and IL-2 Great Battles. If you play either of these games or flight simulators like Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and enjoy aviation and dogfighting then this channel is for you. Even if you are coming from War Thunder and BF2042, you can learn to fly these combat flight simulators.
I play using TrackIR5 and do not use VR, this means that I am able to capture footage for tutorials, how-to-guides and other multiplayer tips and tricks video in 1440p.
Eagle Dynamics has made it easier than ever to learn DCS because the game is technically free. The game has the F-15, F-16, Su-27, Mig-29, Mig-21, Mig-19, Mig-15, F-86 Sabre, Jf-17, Mirage 2000, F-18 Hornet and F-14 Tomcat. There are soon other modules coming such as the Mig-23 and F-4. Lastly, there are helicopters like the Mi-24 Hind and AH-64 Apache.
The same is also true for IL-2 Great Battles. With Battle of Stalingrad, Battle of Kuban, Battle of Bodenplatte, Battle of Moscow and Battle of Normandy being released, there is an immense amount of variety covered. The Bf-109, Fw-190, P-51, Tempest, P-47, Mc.202, Stuka, Ju-88, He-111, and so on are all in the game. I focus on making videos to make that part accessible so you can dive into IL-2 Multiplayer.

Yeah, once you commit on a bomb drop, keep the aircraft level. For drops like this, the altitude hold mode is advisable.

Random convo I overheard while cold starting on SRS:

B: it's called air conditioning
C: it's COLD war, you don't need air conditioning.
Man, that airfield strike was movie-grade.
I felt the Viggen pilot's pain. The first time I flew into my own bomb, I didn't even know what happened - then I watched the after-mission screen and my jaw dropped.

4:50 has to be the most WarThunder thing I've ever seen in DCS. Only lacked two aircraft crashing at rotation.
Funnily enough I use S-24s to farm boats on the Dover and Denmark maps in WT like this guy was doing in the video. 3:57
That was a fun run. We got the runway on the follow up attack. It was neat to hear the scramble that happened on their end!
That second run was even more of a trench run.

Yeah, this definitely highlights what happens when the GCI gets agitated and lets it influence the team.
This also happened in shipboard comms I had to perform in naval nuclear engineering. Even with a mostly fixed set of team members, getting agitated and letting comms get messy is hard to undo. During incident response, you have to keep it short and clear, set priorities, and describe alarming things calmly.

Pretty sure I was in the Gaz at the beginning. Rotor stall in those bad boys is unrecoverable and you got to stay fast to fight the scourge that is the Hind. Sad face.
The chase between the Mig21 and thMirage was breath taking 😍

The F-5 sequence sound-effects were fire and that last segment was incredibly intense.
This is exactly what DCS needs. An ability to look in on what's happening is an awesome idea! R.I.P. server slots....
This is a great series that you should continue. I get so bored of watching only 1 pilot go through his individual sortie. People don’t realize the beauty of multiplayer is that it feels so much more alive than Single Player. We all have our own tasking and responsibilities that work together for the common goal. That’s what makes MP so special. Keep this series up or I’ll body slam you ! ❤
More will come it just takes time to get good footage and bite size.

The complete coordination of that intercept is so good
It so so close to being perfect. Once the MIrages changed course, I don't think the guy in the GCI role noticed or the pilots didn't listen to him. It looked like it was going to be a head-on furball... they were on a dead nuts intercept course... Then the Mirages made a slight right turn and all the MiGs were suddenly in tail chases... just squandered their advantage. Still exciting stuff, but they had those guys dead to rights but couldn't track that course change.
That viggen went off to take a long walk after that blunder 😆

I was so afraid for that Viggen, like dude why so much altitude on the run in, then when the bombs came off I was over the moon for them, then our hopes, dashed against the bombs by a twitch of the stick. Rollercoaster ending, love this style of video.

That looks like a blast. I recently bought the F-18 + Syria/PG on the newcomer deal but might have to try this Cold War stuff. Saw you just added the free A-4 mod to your server so might give that a go.

Given that the server is always full. It would be a good idea to start a second one. Preferably in a different region, like EU as you suggested
How is connectivity on this server for those in faraway locations...e.g. NZ in my case? Is there a maximum kick ping?
I don't think there is a maximum kick limit. Typically from NZ we see 250 ping.

Do you watch the map and then go back to the replay to film it, or are you fliming live as they are playing?
In the game master slot you can go and watch players so i film it live. That is why the angles and POVs aren't so cinematic because I only get one chance at a take.

Can someone explain how the Chad Viggen killed itself? Was it because he flew down after dropping the bombs and "crashing" into them?
He dropped the bombs with negative G and killed himself with the bombs

When you’re on the Cold War server can you still calculate your targets using the f10 map or is fog of war going to make programming them difficult or impossible?

How broken is the mig21 that can see and lock targets at ground level. Looks like the mig had true look down capability.

I love this server, but I must be on at all the wrong times because even with it pretty full, I never see or hear this much going on.,
The organized play happens on Discord not on SRS
The viggens & mirages go so fast you gotta be on top of them before firing missiles :(

Yes
My frustration isn't the module. More so they give us what they want. What I mean for example is we get unicorn things like this or BS3 but can't get air to air in the Apache. I am grateful for anything that is implemented. But a case of red ass has grown over the years

There is a bug right now where bullet impact craters on the ground cause permanent FPS loss. Sorry but it's a bug with the game. I am sure they will fix it in good time.
