"What kept men back from Belief when Guidance came to them was nothing but this: they said "Has Allah sent a man like us to be (His) Messenger?"
Say "If there were settled on earth Angels walking about in peace and quiet, We should certainly have sent them down from the heavens an Angel as a Messenger."
    [Quran Chapter 17:94-95].
"No just estimate have they made of Allah: for Allah is He Who is Strong, and able to carry out His Will.
75 Allah chooses Messengers from amongst Angels and from amongst men: for Allah is He Who Hears and Sees (all things)."

Nicely put. This is what I would put. Mick came with a principal that human are imperfect so can't be Messengers of God. Even though Gabriel confirmed 3 times the Quran to be true but that information came through the same messenger. Quran answers that categorically. And I must say for such people even if God comes to earth they won't believe in Him let alone the angels. So don't waste your energy Hamza. Easy for me to write text on phone, but you are doing an amazing job that most of us deprived of by ourselves.

    • @malghani0

And for Mick just examine the Quran and see if you find faults in it. Because this is the only miracle of Holy Prophet. The miracle that every generation after Mohammad will wittness until the end of time. And that miracle NOT bound by time put a seal to the prophethood by claiming Mohammad being the last prophet.

an acceptance that something exists or is true, especially one without proof.

'Absolute proof' is a red herring, we hardly require it for any of our reasoning in our daily lives. Since there's almost no such thing as 'absolute proof' as almost any evidence can have an element of doubt. This seems a strange thing to say, but take the reliability of the DNA paternity test. There have been cases of it giving the wrong results:
      discovermagazine.com/2006/apr/paternity-testing-dna
So an element of 'belief' or confidence is still required to be able to accept the results. If you think the chances of the result being wrong are very small, you usually apply logic or reasoning to assume that the result must be right. Even though this could of course have been the 1 in a billion or whatever remote possibility that it was wrong.
So whatever 'proof' we have, we still need to apply reasoning to justify our 'beliefs' or assumptions. Based on that we then choose whether to 'believe' something or not. That's why God sends 'signs', albeit clear ones, rather than 'absolute proof' and then leaves it up to people to either accept or reject them.
The famous atheist, Richard Dawkins was once asked what it would take for him to 'believe' in God. Would it convince him if God himself appeared to him out the sky and spoke to him? He replied "no, I'd simply assume that this was some delusion I was having or a magic trick."
Just as the non-believers of Quraish accused Muhammed of performing 'magic':
And even if We had sent down to you, [O Muhammad], a written scripture on a page and they touched it with their hands, the disbelievers would say, "This is not but obvious magic". Quran [6:7]
"But when the truth came to them from Us, they said, "Why was he not given like that which was given to Moses?" Did they not disbelieve in that which was given to Moses before? They said, "[They are but] two works of magic supporting each other, and indeed we are, in both, disbelievers." Quran [ 28:49]
Being able to 'believe' in the truth and to see falsehood is a gift that requires guidance. May God guide us all to the truth, amen.

He cant seem to understand that Muhammad(saw) uttered the words which he heard from Jibreel(as). That's really it. We know hes not perfect and no messenger was. However they were the best of creation to walk earth. Once Islam is studied you will eventually accept this to be true. I studied Islam for 4yrs before accepting, I read everything I could get my hands on. It MUST be a revelation from God.

Be careful about your word usage. Maybe in your dictionary "perfect" means something else, but in mine, what you say is kufr.
He _was_ perfect. Even his shortcomings (like turning his back to the blind man) was part of perfection: seeking forgiveness and repenting.

This man needs to learn about the life of the prophet Muhammad before making any of these silly nonsensical claims. The prophet wasn't just any man, and he was purified before receiving the revelations, so no, he was far from the dirty vessel he is claiming he was. The prophet's message was verified by the angles who were given the job of ensuring everything is correct. Finally if it were not correct, does he really think that God lacks the awareness to know this and that God would continue to choose a vessel that was incapable of expressing a message correctly. Prophets are not random people, they are chosen, and God does indeed have the power to relay a message through anyone or anything.

Mick's argument is debunked in the Quran. The kufar at the time of almost all the prophets claimed, "he is just a man like us" "He wants to have authority over us". .Just look at the beginning of surah Hud or Furqan. To be honest almost all the 5 variables involved to test whether the prophet was really a prophet was already addresed in the Quran itself as well as the hadith/seerah. Just look at surah, Hud, Ibrahim, Qalam. the beginning part of all of them will address this.
      Verses from Surah Ibrahim:
"Has there not reached you the news of those before you - the people of Noah and 'Aad and Thamud and those after them? No one knows them but Allah . Their messengers brought them clear proofs, but they returned their hands to their mouths and said, "Indeed, we disbelieve in that with which you have been sent, and indeed we are, about that to which you invite us, in disquieting doubt."(14:11)
"Their messengers said, "Can there be doubt about Allah, Creator of the heavens and earth? He invites you that He may forgive you of your sins, and He delays your death for a specified term." They said, "You are not but men like us who wish to avert us from what our fathers were worshipping. So bring us a clear authority."
      (14:12)
"Their messengers said to them, "We are only men like you, but Allah confers favor upon whom He wills of His servants. It has never been for us to bring you evidence except by permission of Allah . And upon Allah let the believers rely."
      (14:13).
It says it all(especially if you read the arabic).

Who is Prophet Muhammad (may the mercy and blessings of God be upon him and peace)? Quite simply he is the man who will stand before God on the day of Requital and beg God to have mercy on us. He will intercede for us. Muslims love him because he is the slave and messenger of God, he is a mercy to humankind and his gentleness, and devotion to humanity is unprecedented. Muhammad is the man beloved by more than 1.8 billion Muslims. He is the man who taught us patience in the face of adversity, and taught us to live in this world but seek eternal life in the hereafter. It was to Prophet Muhammad that God revealed the Quran. Along with this Book of guidance God sent Prophet Muhammad, whose behavior and high moral standards are an example to us all. Prophet Muhammad’s life was the Quran. He understood it, he loved it and he lived his life based on its standards. He taught us to recite the Quran, to live by its principles and to love it. When Muslims declare their faith in One God, they also declare their belief that Muhammad is the slave and final messenger of God.
When a Muslim hears Muhammad’s name mentioned they ask God to send blessings upon him. Prophet Muhammad was a man, a human being just like any other man, but it is his love for humanity that sets him apart. Muslims love Prophet Muhammad, but it is his love for us, that makes him a man like no other. He longed for Paradise not only for himself but also for all of us. He wept tears not for himself but for his Ummah, and for humanity. He was often heard to cry *"O God/ALLAH, my Ummah, my Ummah".* Salam!

@ This is The hadith regarding the prophet attempting suicide. Pay attention to the last paragraph.
      Saheeh Bukhari
      Volumn 009, Book 087, Hadith Number 111.
      -----------------------------------------
Narated By 'Aisha : The commencement of the Divine Inspiration to Allah's Apostle was in the form of good righteous (true) dreams in his sleep. He never had a dream but that it came true like bright day light. He used to go in seclusion (the cave of) Hira where he used to worship(Allah Alone) continuously for many (days) nights. He used to take with him the journey food for that (stay) and then come back to (his wife) Khadija to take his food like-wise again for another period to stay, till suddenly the Truth descended upon him while he was in the cave of Hira. The angel came to him in it and asked him to read. The Prophet replied, "I do not know how to read." (The Prophet added), "The angel caught me (forcefully) and pressed me so hard that I could not bear it anymore. He then released me and again asked me to read, and I replied, "I do not know how to read," whereupon he caught me again and pressed me a second time till I could not bear it anymore. He then released me and asked me again to read, but again I replied, "I do not know how to read (or, what shall I read?)." Thereupon he caught me for the third time and pressed me and then released me and said, "Read: In the Name of your Lord, Who has created (all that exists). Has created man from a clot. Read and Your Lord is Most Generous... up to... that which he knew not." (96.15)
Then Allah's Apostle returned with the Inspiration, his neck muscles twitching with terror till he entered upon Khadija and said, "Cover me! Cover me!" They covered him till his fear was over and then he said, "O Khadija, what is wrong with me?" Then he told her everything that had happened and said, 'I fear that something may happen to me." Khadija said, 'Never! But have the glad tidings, for by Allah, Allah will never disgrace you as you keep good reactions with your Kith and kin, speak the truth, help the poor and the destitute, serve your guest generously and assist the deserving, calamity-afflicted ones." Khadija then accompanied him to (her cousin) Waraqa bin Naufal bin Asad bin 'Abdul 'Uzza bin Qusai. Waraqa was the son of her paternal uncle, i.e., her father's brother, who during the Pre-Islamic Period became a Christian and used to write the Arabic writing and used to write of the Gospels in Arabic as much as Allah wished him to write. He was an old man and had lost his eyesight. Khadija said to him, "O my cousin! Listen to the story of your nephew." Waraqa asked, "O my nephew! What have you seen?" The Prophet described whatever he had seen.
Waraqa said, "This is the same Namus (i.e., Gabriel, the Angel who keeps the secrets) whom Allah had sent to Moses. I wish I were young and could live up to the time when your people would turn you out." Allah's Apostle asked, "Will they turn me out?" Waraqa replied in the affirmative and said: "Never did a man come with something similar to what you have brought but was treated with hostility. If I should remain alive till the day when you will be turned out then I would support you strongly." But after a few days Waraqa died and the Divine Inspiration was also paused for a while and the Prophet became so sad as we have heard that he intended several times to throw himself from the tops of high mountains and every time he went up the top of a mountain in order to throw himself down, Gabriel would appear before him and say, "O Muhammad! You are indeed Allah's Apostle in truth" whereupon his heart would become quiet and he would calm down and would return home. And whenever the period of the coming of the inspiration used to become long, he would do as before, but when he used to reach the top of a mountain, Gabriel would appear before him and say to him what he had said before. (Ibn 'Abbas said regarding the meaning of: 'He it is that Cleaves the daybreak (from the darkness)' (6.96) that Al-Asbah. means the light of the sun during the day and the light of the moon at night).

They question the prophets of many things - just to belittle the prophets and the teaching of the prophets - to worship only one God. One of the argument is like in this video - to say the prophets are just human beings. They are with weaknesses and therefore cant be trusted. The more arguments made by the non muslims or non believers strengthened my faith in the truth of AlQuran and Islam. Alhamdullillah..

    Regards to the issue of

The so called vessel ( Na'audhubillahi min hadha ) was cleaned not only once but twice if I am not mistaken! !
First at the tender age of five (I think) when he was living with his foster mother and wet nurse ( umm-halima al-sa'diyah radhiallahu anha) and second time again before he embarked on the night journey of
    "al-isra wal-mi'raaj" if I am not mistaken.

He seems to think that Allah inspired prophet Muhammad (saw) because that's what Christians believe about Paul with the Bible. He doesn't understand that the Quran is an unadulterated message from Allah, word for word, letter for letter, no amount of human imperfection would change God's intentions that.

  • @adnanaslam7227
    @adnanaslam7227 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Muhammad (pbuh) could not read or write and Angel came not in first person (possession of body) but third person way only Muhammad (pbuh) could see. And turned Prophet muhammad’s not being able to read and recite into perfect memorisation of Quran and in its true meaning. And confirmed it again and again 3 times before Prophet (pbuh) left this world realm, not only that. Angel never objected about Prophet understanding in anyway other than what Angel revealed in that 22 year and 10 months period.
So even human imperfections, God can change and turn its impurity into perfection. This is about mere humans. Prophet pbuh was perfect. Alhamdulillah.
