This system should only work on set encounters that are not soft resettable. So it wont work for wild encounters. I was mainly talking about them in the video so idk why I didn’t do that anyway
I like how doodle world does there hunting. Chaining makes things more common and it boosts odds the longer the chain is
Btw it’s not that every time you get an alpha it’s a 1/5 to be gamma, that’s not how odds work. The reason that’s in place for pity is because it’s a pity encounter. Overall I like this idea though
Imo, a system where you can turn off 3 specific loomian encounters for a specific area could benefit players in some form, and this would only allow you to turn off encounters for loomians you already have gleam/gamma.
Should also be the same for roamings, but only for roam pity.
I think that only 1-2 roaming encounters should be allowed to be turned off though.
But that is my idea, what are your thoughts?

I dont really feel its necessary. As infuriating as getting nothing can be, a part of what made hunting so good is how unexpected things are.
If you implement this essentially hunting just becomes a counting game. A negative to pity was that when you get a pity encounter you know that it's going to be an alpha/gamma, which ruined alphas as it was the worst possible thing you could get on that encounter
With a system like this you'd have a similar thing. You count alphas until you get the gamma. And if a different gamma interrupted the chain of alphas and made it reset, then base gammas would become hated too

It's Mathematically Impossible Even after revivng 1000+ fossil u don't get a Single gamma is More like a Error by defination chances of getting gamma is 1/256 so even by this u should be getting one after 256 that's just obvious maths but Nay RnG don't recognise Logic

Wouldn't this kinda take away their "rarity". What makes hunting interesting is the chance that you'll find something rare. This system would take that away from those loomians and the game. At least that's what I think.
