    These knives run $750.00 to $1,400.00 plus with special grip materials and blades. Thats handgun and rifle territory. American citizens work 3X as hard as in many countries. Keep seeing the real deal not providing the quality and attention to detail. Mind you my MT 2010 UTX 70 has been immaculate in performance and quality. Excellent quality review and fun. Thank you for your honesty and attention to detail.

    I own several Vespa OTF knives and they are very good OTF . The only thing I think it's a shame they don't have tactical enough colors.

    Great job showing the differences in these and sharing your seller's info. I usually only buy American knives but I would much prefer some of these to say, WE, Kizer and the like. Grabbing one of these is great to supplement my knife buying addiction when I don't have $ for the real thing. You should def pick up a Stitch model.

      These are really nice knives man, and extremely well-built.
      ChinaHighEndEDC & VESPA Just recently dropped a new knife called the RIPPER - its actually been out for a couple of months now, but its something i have been wanting.
      Am going to pick one up with my tax-return this year, which should be here in about a week or two.
      They also just released (like the other day, maybe last week?) An MSG-2 that looks hard af!!

    Does the holster booger up the finish on the Vespa ?

    • @baersworld.8812
      @baersworld.8812  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nope.
      Its got a hard finish on the handle, and its aluminum - the holster is a kydex material, it does not booger up or leave any wear on the chassis, at-least not in my experience.
      The charging handle is the titanium part, but the handle is made from 7075-aluminum; It is very durable, and the color-coating on the aluminum is pretty strong and feels thick.
      So far everything is great with this blade, i dont use it much - it pretty much stays in the case it came in, but i have carried it and used the kydex sheath it comes with, no signs of any wear on the handle or blade at all. Fired the blade in and out plenty of times, no wear on the bottom of the blade where it shoots out and locks in either.
      Def. a great buy, i would recommend this blade over the new VESPA ripper, then again i have not had the chance to get my hands on the ripper, but the halo VI is my fav. next to the combat troodons (with the carbon fiber).
      Cant recommend this knife enough, go get one while you still can!

    Do you know if vespa makes a halo 6 with the hallhound blade

    • @baersworld.8812
      @baersworld.8812  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      They do not, the only hellhound halo 6 available through ChinaHighEndEDC is their MIKER Halo VI (comes in hell hound tanto, tanto, and drop point).
      VESPA puts out some really high-quality stuff though, as of lately i wouldnt even both with buying an authentic microtech IMHO.

    • @baersworld.8812

      they are the same as far as i know, but you could check the stats on their website, its dhgate and the seller is chinahighendedc, just type tht in the search bar on the dhgate.com website and it'll pull up the items, its called the vespa halo VI, then under that listing, the specificiations, you will see the blade length etc. all the specs are there!

    I'm not a collector ! I'm a user ! But I collect clones of stupid high over priced for no reason other than greed knives !
    People keep saying they are American companies that are getting ripped off !
    I say it's their turn to be ripped off ! It's their karma !!! An American would give and American a good product for a good price ( a % over production cost ) they say its good steel ( no matter what steel it is it only raises the cost per unit a few dollars not a few hundred dollars ) it's hype ! And a rip off !

    • @baersworld.8812
      @baersworld.8812  5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      i 100% agree with you on that!
      Microtech sells these Halo VI and even their Halo V for over $500! It's something like $650.00 on a couple of the other websites where i was looking, i couldnt believe it.
      I did a ton of studying on these clones from this company VESPA, and have come to the understanding that their copies of the microtech style/models are 95% identical in every-way, mechanics, action, and even the materials used. So why spend $650.00 on a Halo VI with a standard tanto blade when you can buy a VESPA Halo VI with M390, and comes with the Marfione Custom Compound Ground Tanto for 1/3 the cost shipped and delivered?
      And it comes with the tools to open and clean/maintain PLUS an extract spring? lol ..its a no-brainer really..
      I'm not too concerned about having an authentic microtech, i dont mind having replicas that of this high-quality.
      The VESPA Combat Troodons are absolutely amazing, have you gotten one of them yet? I really like the silver handled carbon fiber rambo/intereceptor style blade, its my fav of the two that i own.

    Damn I'm gonna just take a stab at it and say you really really like the HaLo style single action knives I think with a company like Vespa out there that delivers the customer a damn fine product with All Trimmings included UnLike Microtech for a 3rd of the price or less and gives you an array of blade steels to choose from than why actually buy Microtech unless one just wants to own atleast one real one I Honestly Don't care to mostly cause I can buy atleast 2 Vespas for the same price may e 3 depending upon the model ya know... But I find it interesting that they don't do the ultra-techs & Dirac but do the other double action as I wish they did make a Dirac Vespa clone cause I Bought that $50 chrome and Carbone fiber with blue hardware clone of a prototype and the goddess w/carbon fiber clone.... Vespa just delivers an overall better package to the consumer ya know......
