This Federal Signal 2001-130 siren is a brand new install in Burleson, Texas, near fire station #1 on SW Alsbury Blvd, replacing an old Whelen WPS-2810 siren. This was my first time filming a 2001-130 and experiencing one up close (200-250 feet away), and it has such a punch when it turned towards me, even with wearing hearing protection. Burleson tests their sirens on the first Wednesday of every month at 1:00pm (weather permitting).
